My best friend has a turtle tank with all kinds of them.

So this one just showed up? Wow. Is this your first one,

or have you been a turtle lover and keeper for a long time.

If you have, isn't it cool that God gave the turtle to you?

he just showed up in the driveway when I went to bring the trash can in. Turns out I was told he is an Eastern Box turtle so water is the best place to live. Now he has some water but mostly land. Going to take him to a vet to get checked out soon. I let him out in the yard today and he was walking all over the place and loving it. I would let him hybernate on his own if he were older but he doesn't have enough meat on his bones to survive without eating.

You mean you haven't taught him to roll over or play dead yet? LOL Looks like a cool aquarium you have for him.

Give me a week and I'll have him doing something cool! I actually had him in a different kind of tank then I realized 'ALWAYS BUY THE KIT'. So I found a turtle kit (all good things come in kits). I think he will do well in this as long as he stays healthy. I have no idea how old he really is. I have had him 10 days but he couldn't have been very old when I found him. We are about a mile to the water so I dunno. Maybe mommy was giving him a ride and he fell off. Oh well, he's a cool little guy!

LOL They are hard to keep. My nephew bought a turtle from the pet store, and has to have him under a heated light, can't get too hot or too cold, special diet, even took him to the vet once cause he was low on some vitamin or something. Good luck. lol
