In my opinion this was was worse than the shit shat out by dogs that is then eaten and shat out again. THIS IS MY OPINION. I usually love the films actors like Kevin Bacon, Brendan Fraser and shit are in. Not this one.

r u serious, i stopped watching this movie after the first 10 minutes when forest whitaker overhears some random guy he doesnt even know say that he knows a sure thing in a horserace, then forest goes and bets all his money, BULLSHIT, no one would ever do that, never, thats never been done, no one would be so fucking stupid to bet every last dime of their money cuz some random jackass thinks he knows something special, it was total bullshit and i had to turn the movie off right there

Decided to give it a shot because Andy Garcia is in it. I thought he was great as a villain. I like this movie, different and intriguing. Not exactly something I'd watch over and over, but it was worth the watch for sure.

Why oh why didn't they ever release the soundtrack on CD? There are some uploads on YouTube, but the one track I really want - playing in this trailer from 0:44 until 1:32 and in the movie when Kevin Bacon is breaking into the blood bank - is not among them :(

Finally had a chance to see this. It's a little self indulgent & coincident goes beyond coincident, but it's easy to forgive that because it is conceptually interesting & just experimental enough. I always enjoy seeing Fraser transform into another character, because he does it so very well. I like anything that makes me think, and this film did.
