woah! This is amazing!- I love it and I am so upset that she didn't get to perform it in the finals- se deserved it!

You could totally tell how much work she had put into it, and her energy and love for what she does- I wish she had won a talent award, or come out with any other prize- and an excellent routine and music choice- I love hairsray, especially that song, " You can't stop the beat"!

Increadable one of the best tallents I have ever seen on the contest, and pulling off three batons that is the only part they showed when she was voted out as she was crossing the stage to the other side. I wish the let all the finalists show their tallent its such a letdown sometimes.

As for the Miss Michigan pitch thing-I was completely blown away when she won seeing as how talent counts for a fairly good sized portion of the score. I'm still puzzled on how that whole thing worked out...

This is the reason that no one watches or cares about the show like they used to.. when a talent like this does not get shown on the national telecast... well its on cable now.. but that is part of the reason.. because the show and talents are so.. well you saw how they were... and a talent like this does not get shown... this would have made the show... i know there are other areas of judging but talent should be about half the score.

This performance was great!!! i only wished they would have let her perform her talent on the show! i was watching just to see her twirl, and was so upset when she was eliminated. Her talent was the best by far! way more original than all the singers. (though i may be somewhat biased since i am a twirler =P) but i loved this and this isnt even the hardest stuff she can do.

Miss America, and the tv network should want to show how talented all the contestants are--they should take 5 minutes and show the preliminary winners, or non-finalist talent winners on TV--and skip the "Clinton Kelly carb" segment. I was there and saw this performance. Diana Reed rocked the house. She got a standing ovation when she performed this--and another standing ovation when she was "eliminated." She was clearly the crowd favorite at Miss America. No one else got that kind of response from the audience. This was one Miss America contestant who clearly had "talent."
