thats the whole movie hes describing. a n idea crystalizes followed by others to form a story. diane sees betty at diner the idea of wishing to be another, betty starts the story she invents.
@adatvful he moves his hands a lot while he talks and not just in the normal way people do. its very odd and would be distracting to anybody seeing it for the first couple times.
shit i had so many incredible ideas and i didnt write them down, i guess i lost them for forever! so sad... i wanna commit suicide... btw it happened when i was stoned!
@6980MulhollandDrive As soon as he said it I knew he meant it because the same thing has happened to me. Its like the universe is giving you the answer but that was the one time you were yawning or too drunk to remember.
I think all creators would agree, especially writers - It's the idea that picks the thinker not the other way round, all the thinker does is maintain the idea until they realize what they are holding.
His syntax of speech is like that of someone for whom english is a second or third language. I don't think he is a real person.

I love that Robert Forster only shows up in one scene, when you expect the detectives to be major players

I love how they try to cut his hands out by zooming in as soon as he starts talking. It's so obvious... lol

It's one thing to have great ideas but to give them life like David does, is something special.
What a dream it would be to work with him ..... maybe one day!
