I looked on the Internet for this disease and found out that this disease is transmitted from a parent. Is that true? If yes, from who?

@pokepj The studies Kerry and I did, did not show this. All the stidies (starting with the Polish studies in the early 80s) did not have any type of conclusion as to the cause of CAPS. If you have a study that shows the "cause" of CAPS I'd be interested. PM me or email millertas@eftel.net.au.

@ikillu0 The simple answer is heart failure but he was born with a condition known as CAPS (which is similar to muscular dystrophy) and this made fighting the flu more complex. As you see it was a number of things.

Tony, i watch this video - and as i watch it - My heart is crying. Ashley was a great runescape player, and i admire him for all his persistance with life, before - he passed. That was part of his condition. A muscular complaint that had similar affects to muscular dystrophy and in the end was deadly.

CAP Disease is a congential disease (ie. you are born with it). However he wasn't specifically diagnosed until he was about eleven. I hope this answers your question.

Ashley had a very rare muscle condition which if I would give it little justice to try to explain here. It did not affect him intellectually but he was offetn lumbered with the mentally disabled. Despite the best of care and taking all possible precautions he caught a flu which led to pnemonia which led to his heart giving up on May 12. I am in the middle of writing a short book of his life but usual and remarkable life.

Ashley our son died in May. I (his Dad) got a lot of sympathy and (as the description says) it was Kerry his mum that did the work and care. She is very much alive but (understandably as with myself) still going through the grief process.
