  • (?) If this was musical wallpaper, I would paper a mountain so I could see and hear as far as eye and ear can sense.

  • this is art

  • Wow the king singers have the best ranges. I am a tenor and I can still hit soprano notes but these guys are much older then me it is very impressive. When i say i can hit soprano notes i mean real soprano notes i can't do falsetto yet and my voice has changed very little and im in highschool. Great job King Singers.

  • @flamingheavenful So your voice hasn't brocken then mate... Most boys can easily hit far above many female sopranos... Myself i used to sing upto about a High High G...

  • @gerhards1313 Thank you. I don't understand anything but i can follow what's done.

  • @bierebremier me neither. I copied the text from another movie. also a good performance of this piece watch?v=imTTCYNzMAA

  • Who needs women anyway, when men can sing a soprano like that! ;)

  • That falsetto is just beautiful.

  • They singing in estonian.

  • Major goosebumps. =)

  • Amazing bass!

  • 2:32 until 2:42 actually made me double over it was so amazing.....

  • Awesome!!xD

  • Fantastic! They sing Estonian lyrics very well. I couldn't almost tell that they don't speak Estonian.

  • @JustBestThings they don't speak it's only phonetic!

  • @mouthmouse

No it's not. They're simply singing in a different language.

  • @Egabbacknuks Yes but what I said, they don't speak this language! They only sing by phonetic this language and cant have a talk in this language

  • @mouthmouse

You seem to misunderstand the meaning of the word 'phonetic'. Just because they don't speak the language fluently, it doesn't mean that they are 'singing phonetically'. They will have studied the lyrics in English as well, so they will know a few words in Estonian. Think about it - hundreds of opera singers don't speak the languages they sing in. But they KNOW what they're singing about. So the King's Singers are, therefore, merely singing in a different language.

  • @Egabbacknuks Sorry but it was exactly what I'm try to tell from the begining but maybe without good words! They know lyrics with an english translation, but THEY DON'T KNOW the language to have a talk in this language :p

  • @mouthmouse

Well yes, I agree with you there. But it's still NOT "phonetic". Wrong choice of words. :P

  • @Egabbacknuks Im' not english speaking man!

  • @mouthmouse

I know, I worked that out after your first comment. Don't worry about it. You actually write English very well. :)

  • @riceboy47 Haha you're right... They've still got Mr. CrazyFace in the bottom right at 2:57

  • My favorite part is near 1:20. The whole mood of the piece changes there.

  • that just put me in a trance!! absolute perfection!

  • - Would you kindly cite the composers, too? Would be nice for us to know who wrote the score. thanks

  • @blue7sing The composer is Cyrillus Kreek. The official title of the piece is "Taaveti Laulud - Taaveti Laul 121". He was Estonian, and so I assume the title is in Estonian also!

  • @Pianist53 - thanks very much!! "Taaveti Laulud - Taaveti Laul" = "David's Psalm - Psalm of David"

  • @blue7sing Ah thanks for the very knowledgeable response! Now just to find a copy of the sheet music...

  • from 0:51 to 1:00 they somehow look and sound like ancient warriors singing funeral dirge=)

  • stephen's sounding so russian in his entrance lol

  • Stephen @ 2:35 is dominating those low notes.

  • This is my absolute favourite piece they've done.

Each of the voices is shown off perfectly.

  • amazing. absolutely breathtakingly amazing. :]
