China is currently trapped within his own foot with coal energy. 50% of the total train traffic of the country is used for coal transport from the north where it's produced, to the south east where the powerplant are built. Even if some people are skeptical for global warming, Coal powerplant is a total bullshit for the environnement, destroying places nearby, Acid Rains over Japan, Lung Cancers... Ask to the few remaining Arizona Indians tribes if they live well near plants in USA..
