Mr. Dalton, if you are by chance reading this, I am interested in buying a recording you did of "Panhandle Rag" you did on your 1990s instruction video for HotLicks. Is that performance available for sale to the public, other than on the tape (which I already own)?

I don't stretch for those voicings like Johnny Smith. I play standard drop 2 chords and hit the lowest tone with an octave harmonic like Lenny Breau. It's much easier and more comfortable. On the other hand, you can strum them and I can't.

Thanks for all Joes videos, ESPECIALLY this one. I just love these lovely fat chord shapes, and I find it has a wealth of information to be studying, practicing, and using in my playing. The other one with pedal steel bends is fantastic too.

I like this lesson cause its kinda like a secret chord weapon lol. Not many players use it much anymore. Its perfect suited for old school swing.
