Je viens de regarder la vidéo officielle de l'eurovision où ce brave garçon chante en direct et pour être sincère je comprends qu'il ait perdu. Il chante faux surtout au début. Les juges sont intransigeants sur ces détails. Si au lieu de le faire chanter en play-back dans toutes les émissions dans lesquelles il a été invité, il avait chanté en direct, il aurait certainement maitrisé son trac et ses émotions. C'est bien dommage pour lui mais une grande carrière s'ouvrira certainement pour lui!

In my pow, a song in the eurovision should be a broad reflexsion of the music, played in that specific contry.

As we see in the balkan area, the songs are heavy influenced by the music played there.

Putting an Opera in the contest, don't reflect the music from France...(neither did "Lordi" from findland)

Dont get my wrong, i respect his talent, and like the song alot, but when i close my eyes, and just listen, i don't see France....sorry.

Come on people! Seriously, don`t nearly every note of this give a feeling of deja vu? Starting with Ravel`s Bolero? I can`t believe that more people don`t see thru this! Yes, he is a great singer! But from there doesn`t necessarily follow a great song! Wellcrafted - yes. But not great. This is craft - not art! Excerpts of classical music put together to evoke an emotional response within the listener. Fouling him into thinking it is fantastic. The musical way of spiking a drink, nothing more.

@thetanji12 The problem with this soundtrack - cause that is what it is, it is not a proper song - is that we easily hear where it has been "glued together." It sounds like one of these montages of musicpieces an orchestra would put together as a quick warm up for a gala event - similar to what the Oscarshow does with film music. They have mixed Ravel`s Bolero and Wiener Waltz, for crying out loud! But for an elevator, or up market commercial - couldn`t be done better. But as an Eu song - no,no.
