I got mine yesterday and tried recording and it wont focus till a certain distance farther away any suggestions? :(

that is just how it works...

how far is 'a certain distance farther away'??

dow you have the 16mm or the 18-55mm? zoom in to 55mm to get things a little closer

however when you want to film things instead of taking pictures of it i would take a closer look at the NEX 5

the NEX 5 delivers better movie quality
