After reading your comments, moviestarchef, I'm very happy that these dogs were all loved and kept in regular contact. Too many people just let dogs have babies and sell them for profit, they don't think the kind of detachment effect it would have on their parents and so many people inbreed them silly times. Keeping the bloodline pure and from a reputable established breeder is the way forward. If I ever owned a dog and sold the pups I'd keep them in contact. P.S I love goldens :)

OMG!!! They're so adorable! :3 I almost cried at this video because I'm so passionate for Goldens. It's the #1 dog I want and I was so close to getting one, but my brother is allergic. I wonder how my life would have been if I got a golden retriever that was mine, and was loyal, obedient, and friendly to me and everyone around me.

8. Almost 3 years later, we are still in contact regularly with the breeder, we send photos and cards and update her on how Daisy is doing (which she loves). I cannot stress enough the importance of finding a reputable breeder.

6. There were only 2 little girls in the litter... the other 8 were boys. This is not an uncommon litter size for a golden.

7. The breeder does not overbreed. This litter was the 3rd and final litter born to the mom, and then she was spayed and is living out her life as a well loved and taken care of family pet.

3. The Whelping Box is more than adequate for the number of puppies in that litter.

4. I can assure you all that these puppies are hand raised in a family home with 4 children and 2 adults, the puppies are loved and cuddled and let out of the whelping box CONSTANTLY.

5. This particular breeder believes that hand rearing puppies in a family home helps to raise adult dogs with a sound temperment. I agree.

Wow... I had no idea there'd be this much interest in my video. I posted it here to share with my family across the country when I brought my Daisy home.

Thought I should clear up a few things:

1. There are 10 puppies in the video

2. I am not a breeder... this video was taken at the home of the breeder where my puppy came from. This was our "Interview" with the breeder... she does not sell puppies to families without screening them first.

yes they obey a lot,and they are familiar dogs, they can't be left outside,they prefered to be in a apartment with no much space to run but with people than be outside in a big space and alone. Golden retrievers are very social specially with childrens, and they are sooooo gentle i luv them!

Goldies are the cutest dogs ever. I have had one and will have again one day. They are heavenly. They obey, are playful and calm at the same time and quiet so you can have one in an apartmentbuilding. I adore goldies!!!

I love the goldens. I now have one just over a year, a true gift from the heavens with beauty and intelligence. I can't wait to breed him. His parents were amazing as well. There is something definatly special about this breed and I have owned and raised many others.

Wow, ten puppies, my golden retriever had six, although they have more room than that, even though they don't go so far as the immaculate space they do have. I don't think it hurts to give them a bit more room. We give them all the room they can have, but they don't go more than five feet, except one who tends to venture farther than the others.

They're cute but think about this- there were about 15 puppies in that cramped area. Obviously the breeder was over breeding them. The poor little puppies! No wonder that one was crying! It was probably neglected!!!!!!!:(

the thing is the puppies are only in the whelping box for about a month or two at the most. Because if they arent they can get into trouble ( get stuck caught in wires and ruin stuff) so the safest and best choice for the dog and everyone is to keep them in thier unless you are thier.
