@honeybeez4ever1 i hope you enjoyed it. i find myself on the computer at 1 am, with a cup of coffee in front of me. because i need a shot of jane austin just now!
I love all 3 versions, this one, the 95' one, and the 2005 move. They were all great in their own right, but i have to say that i love Colin Firth's Darcy! ^^
i remember seeing this version as a seven year old, and thinking of Eliza Bennet as a most admired and attainable ideal. thank you, Ksliron, for sharing it!!!!!! even now, for me no other Eliza Bennet has reached the perfect interpretation of Elizabeth Garvie (as the authoress had imagined her): light, unorthodoxly beautiful, rationally intelligent and stupid at heart - hasty in forming judgements and hardly able to open up...
Hey, THX for the upload! My favorite version is the BBC version from 1995 with Colin Firth, but I like it too:)

hey the person who plays Charlotte played Elinor in sense and sensibility.

Like you I love all the renditions of Pride and Prejudice. I love Colin Firth's portrayal of Darcy the best.

I'm only 6 minutes into this version and I think I like it best. It seems closer to the book than the others.

@Obviouslyced There's nothing like a good shot of Jane Austin.

It is still the best adaptation. Lucidly intelligent and, mercifully, free of the titillating tendencies of contemporary 'costume-drama.
