Like Cobus has said in the past, sticking to the drum part exactly is an art in and of itself, and Matt executed that perfectly. However, Cobus' creativity and improvisation makes it that much more exciting and original. I'm sure Matt could have done what Cobus did and improvised a large portion of the song, but his intent was to play as closely as possibly to the original part. You can't compare when both drummers' intentions were so different. I like Cobus' style better, but Matt is amazing.
