OK... looks like the Wattle Bottle wars are on. I was a Klean fan until I heard of and saw the Bamboo Watter Bottle. Bamboo... cool..... glass liner.... great.... EASY cleaning... Thank goodness for stiff competition... finally someone got creative and GREEN. Right on.... Steer clear of Al.
After I found out what a crock of lies SIGG predicated itself on after the BPA "scare" I'll never again, no matter what their formula, waste my money on their crappy, smelly product.
I have always thought bottled water is the biggest con going. I have never understood why people pay 10 times more for a bottle of water they could get from the tap lol.
PBAs in the bottles, specifically the liner but it leeches. I always suspected these were junk and an engineer friend of mine claims they are not even true stainless steel, won't use them.
in order to have the chemicals leak you would have to expose your bottle to immense heat and immense acid, so unless you're boiling tomato juice in you nalgene, you should be fine!
how is a bottle made in switzerland, chemically coated painted shipped half way round the world good for the envirnoment when you can re-use anything that is broguht. you think you will stop buying drinks from a shop because you have purchased a sigg ??
they crack if frozen
weigh a lot more than something you could just get for free.
True this started off like a promotion program... so I had to fast forward to the end of the video to see the "review." Sigg is a cool bottle and just like the Swiss Army Knife, these are sure to be of excellent craftsmanship and will last a long time. I like the nice choices of colors. I wish other manufacturers would do the same instead of just having the boring stainless steel or one color in their bottles.
Ahh, did the dude check this video after he made it?
"We throw out 2.5 million plastic bottles..." ++ more environmental rant...
"Wow! I could collect a tonne of these just for the hell of it!"
Is it just me or is this a bit of a contradiction. Buy as little as you need, don't collect shit just for the hell of it. Not too sure if you realised that it takes a whole load of energy to make aluminium. Plus it's a metal that has to be dug up... I could go on
sigg bottles rule. Sigg also has stainless steel bottles, but technically they are not Swiss made, as the stainless steel ones are made in China. However I do prefer steel or 'industrial strength, sanitary grade 18/8 stainless steel' as their site puts it over aluminum.
I have a sigg bottle too. the geisha design, but I like my klean kanteen better because my sigg bottle gives me this weird sort of metally, rusty taste even after I've cleaned it.
Hi. I'm not sure if you're asking me or not. Both FOF Bottles and Kl. Kan. have caps that can be changed between the bottles. We picked up the FOF's for the family and can change the caps around. A friend of ours has the K. K. and theirs can do the same thing.
Hi there. Good video. We did a bunch of research before purchasing our reusable bottles. The thing that prevented us from buying a SIGG was the inside lining. Nobody REALLY knows what it's made of; SIGG themselves won't disclose it. It could have some type of bpa substance--who knows? Anyway, that's why we went stainless steel instead. It was a toss up between Klean Kanteen and FOF Bottles; but we ended up going with FOF Bottles because of the design, cost and quality.

It is a bit of a contradiction, but an extra SIGG would likely be handed to a friend or family member.
It is better than plastic.

SIGG's lining has been tested to not have BPA. I guess you do have to go with their word on it though.

You are SOOO right!
We had a discussion in English class about Estrogen leeching from plastic bottles, and it sucks for the male gender!
I just ordered a classic red Sigg bottle!
(and even if aluminum causes Alzheimers, I would rather forget my gender at old age, than be effeminate my whole life!)
