Just because someone doesn't believe in what you believe in doesn't mean they have had something traumatic happen in their lives. Don't assume things about people because they do not share the same opinions and beliefs that you do. If anything, this song is far from dark. It's shedding light on other beliefs and possibilities. It's a beautiful song that many people can feel their beliefs inside of.

I inadvertantly came across this gay folk singer, Jay Brannan, and thought, eh, what the hell...I'll support the guy and buy his album. Three days later I'm checking his tour dates and crushed he came to DC only a week ago. Such a near miss! I would have sold my flesh to be there. Thanks stranger for the best gift I got this year!!
