@kolerakamil i think its exclusive for the 4s, it needs alot of processing power to handle and so it needs the iphone 4s' A5 chip. and its not mentioned anywhere in ios5, its mentioned seperately so most likely its only for iphone 4s

I use Dragon Dictation every day to dictate page long e mails to friends, lawyers, doctors, etc. It is 99% accurate and at least three times as fast as using a regular keyboard on a computer. So, It is a game changer. In the past, when I wanted to dictate I used a Sony Tape Recorder, and then had to play it back, write out the notes, and then type them. Those days are over. Dragon Dictation - Wow!! Great App.!!!!

I sent a message using this app but the recipient never got it, this issue solve the program is great.

I have it and love it but it lacks one thing.. The ability to also speak out contacts names when it comes to sending. I send a text, I have to type in my contacts name after every text which is stupid. The program could have at least remembered the last contact that was emailed/text messaged etc so that users dont have to re type their contact name over and over again. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future update. But shit it was free so whatever, its an awesome app and I use it a lot!

Downloaded this app, and it's awesome! Even though I'm relatively fast at texting, this is way faster and easier! The app opens quickly, you give dictation, it gives you the text result, which you can text or e-mail immediately. Fantastic.

A question re the software - not trying to be a smartass but what happens if you want to include the word 'period' in a sentence? I always wondered with these programs.

That's a great question about including the word period. I just tried it in several sentences and it just put a '.' at each spot where the word period was supposed to be.

I imagine they must have some way around this but I don't know it.

Hopefully someone else will see your comment and have some advice. Maybe try deleting the app and reinstalling it. I really don't know.

READ THE DETAILS OF THE USAGE AGREEMENT. It says (I'm paraphrazing) that by installing this product you agree that it will upload your CONTACTS (first / last name only) to the online server. Dragon Support claims this is to allow for better recognition of these names. Read the iTunes Reviews for December 8.
