@mahoney8787 Thor and Superman both have more than strength for super powers. It's easy to see how Hulk can be beaten. Now with the video Hulk vs Thor, it looked like Thor was losing the battle. Hulk may be stronger but you have to remember that Thor is friends with Bruce Banner so he was actually holding back. Look up Thor's and Superman's powers and you'll come to the conclusion that Hulk is outmatched here. Don't get me wrong, I like Hulk too but he is out of their league.

That's because super human characters are written poorly lol. Sometimes kryptonite kills him, some times it just makes him weak, like in smallville when he got stuck in a cave full of it and didn't die. As far as im concerned at this point nothing can kill superman, which bores me.

@Fernando072295 I think Marvel did a bad job showing Thor's powers/potential. People keep thinking all Thor can do is smash things with super strength, control lightning or the weather and fly. They don't realize he is much more powerful than that. When you show something like this, people jump all over you. All Marvel has to do is make more movies of Thor instead of always showing X-Men, Wolverine, Spiderman, Iron Man, and Hulk. Peolple will realize just how powerful he really is.

@MICHAELSSJ4 it's really hard to say that..hulks power goes up and down all the time. Sometimes hulk gets cuts and scratches even though he clearly has a healing factor...sometimes he is durable to the point of being bullet proof...
@w0nd100 LOL what are you saying, the fact that he has a healing factor doesnt mean he doesnt get scratches or cuts, but they heal immediately after and it takes somthing really sharp and durable to cut him, also, his strength doesnt go up and down it goes from freshly angered to infinite, and bullets always bounce off him at all power levels...
@MICHAELSSJ4 no im saying some times he's flat out invulnerable to the point where his skin can't be cut, to the point where he has no invulnerability but he can heal INSTANTLY within seconds, to he heals fast but it takes minutes, his strength goes up and down depending on who is writing it, that applies to any character though, they don't stay consistent. People always make it sound like the characters never change depending on who is writing the story.

@gm565val Thor is friends with Bruce Banner so he held back against Hulk. If Thor wanted to, he can use what is called his "God Blast' against Hulk. That blast can destroy galaxies. That was enough to make Galactus retreat when those two went toe to toe. Now he can use that same power against Superman which would really mess him up even though it's not kryptonite. It would be a close fight but Thor would have the upper hand since Superman is also weak against magic.

Thor and Superman fought in one of the DC vs Marvel crossovers - Superman won - Wonder Woman gave Hercules a beating too and flash beat Quicksilver while running backwards and making smartarse comments - the theme in that story was the over-the-top powers of the DC guys vs the more realistic (if you can say that about comics) powers of the Marvel chaps.

Even though I am probably insulting some hardcore comic book fans with this, I just want to say how pointless and stupid it is to compare the power of comic book characters from different universes to each other. These characters are not meant to be comparable in terms of strength and power alone does not make a character cool at least in my opinion. Also since some people seem to have forgot, they are made up that means you can come with your own characters who are almighty.

Superman has Xray vision, Heat vision, and cold breath, all very useful vs Thor

Thor without Mjolnir is potent, but not against Superman. Overall I would say it's a very good fight. However, Superman wins. But it'd be closer than Hulk

Hulk may be stronger but you have to remember that Thor is friends with Bruce Banner so he was actually holding back. Look up Thor's and Superman's powers and you'll come to the conclusion that Hulk is outmatched here. Don't get me wrong, I like Hulk too but he is out of their league.

That's because super human characters are written poorly lol. Sometimes kryptonite kills him, some times it just makes him weak, like in smallville when he got stuck in a cave full of it and didn't die. They don't realize he is much more powerful than that. When you show something like this, people jump all over you. That was enough to make Galactus retreat when those two went toe to toe. Now he can use that same power against Superman which would really mess him up even though it's not kryptonite. It would be a close fight but Thor would have the upper hand since Superman is also weak against magic.

These characters are not meant to be comparable in terms of strength and power alone does not make a character cool at least in my opinion. @Fernando072295 Thor wins hans down considering superman is weak with out the presence of the yellow sun/ cant breath in space(i think), Thor is capable of tracking objects moving at the speed of light though im not sure if this ability works during battle but if he does it will definitely be advantages, plus dont think supes can handle the jandle wen it comes to thors mightiest lighting strikes. and about the heat vision u do remember Thor has gone up against sutur and the destroyer.

I'm pretty much with you for the most part but The Hammer should be a monkey wrench for the fight. specifically because on it's own Mijnior(the hammer) is on their level of power, then add to that superman being vulnerable too it because it's magic, the Hammer should make to one shot superman. Next fight though superman wins, because he knows to run away from the hammer and not stand there like a dolt trying to impress the ladies cause he thinks it just bounce off him.

Superman is THE hardest thing in the DC universe, if he lost to a Marvel character people would possibly stop reading DC comics as they would feel the heroes we're inferior to that of Marvels.
Proof Thor would win: Thor #166, Thor #393, Journey Into Mystery#102, Avengers-#281.
The above showcase the REAL ability's Thor has and could / would use. If you're really that open minded as DC / Marvel fans, you'll read the above issues and know who'd win.
