@CoLoSsusS Successful sales are more closely corellated to marketing than performance. I'm typing on an hp pc because I had a $200 coupon for it. I have no idea what it's specs are in comparison to a Mac whatever, but I do know that apple has some spiffy and memorable commercials that clearly and cleverly show their product as more desirable for some potentially socially related reason.

I'm with you. I'm a graphic designer, and I find it extremely aggravating that 99% of all graphic designers swear by Mac, and they have no idea why - they just say they're better. Professors always endorse Macs too. I don't care, I'll use either, and I personally I have no problem with Mac laptops, but I would never buy a Mac desktop when I can build a comparable PC for a very small fraction of the price.

The thing about Macs is that they feel like somebody elses computer. I personally dont like the 'groovy' OS on macs. Thats the things about Pc's. I can custimise them how I want and make them more personal I guess. + they are much better value for money :P

I've been using Vista for a few months and it does pop up with a lot of question when you want to do something. However, I'm not going near a MAC - You can't play all the great games like Windows. Hands down. But these ads are fucking funny.
