  • I love windows7 dont get me wrong but i also love Linux (im a distro hoper) but my problem is that windows its hard to customize it to do what you want linux worst case scenario its pop open the terminal and enter a few commands.

  • Wuahahahaha!!!

I remember TIMES when you were FORCED to use Microsoft software.

Say... since its start, MSDOS, even as CLONE of CP/M was different from it, and made CP/M incompatible, and OBLIGATED its parent to follow MSDOS conventions. Proprietary ones..

Now, in 2012, Microsoft is OBLIGATED to use Linux? :DD Dude, I say they seriously fcked up (as always). Linux FTW!

  • The arguments of Windows fans often feel to me like: "I always take a shit with my pants on, because I don't have to waste my time putting them back up then."

  • fuck Microsoft. Why are they so evil sometimes?

  • @Nejitheultimate Because it's controlled by bunch of greedy people with low morales?

  • For more stupidity type in Wikipedia "studies related to microsoft", or see my channel

  • Why must Ballmer turn YouTube INTO A HOUSE OF LIES?!?!?!?!

  • I want to disable annotation one by one using CLI in Linux.

    Can Linux do this? NO!

So I suggest the good 'ole Windows.

  • @AppA Yes you can just press the Xses

  • @MrDemilord Obviously that's not what I want. I want to do that using CLI.

  • I have a better solution for you... throw proprietary products far away...

  • @ottoshmidt

I did.. I threw the iPhone from the balcony and crushed it with my car... Loved it!!!!

  • Ballmer knows that Windows server versions are disappearing like the dinosaurs and if you see it, it is running in a virtual environment on Linux servers. When Microsoft's server market share keeps dwindling and the same with the consumer side of things, of course he will call it a cancer and make up lies about it being a cancer that latches onto other's intellectual property. It is why MS goes after companies like TomTom that are weak to strengthen this fallacy too.

  • Actually, I am pretty sure that "Lindows" lost that court battle and re-released its OS as Linspire, but it failed quickly afterward. Linux is only just now ready for prime time. Normal people cannot easily tweak systems. Actually I blame MACs more. They just took Linux and made it unusable by the masses. Wouldn't it be better if you could actually BUY MAC software for your Ubuntu system? Companies writing code for Mac could release a Fedora or Ubuntu version of their software.

  • @homeschoolingwithaop Mac OSX is not Linux. It is BSD Unix made less powerful, flexible, and configurable. Not only that it was stolen and illegally re-licensed.

  • LOL....

Eventually Microsoft will release Windows 10(or 9, but I guess 10) as SUSE Linux...

Remember my words in 5~8 years from now.

  • "Can't we all just get along?"

As well as a lion and a gazelle can. The lion is a predator with a single focus. The gazelle just wants to eat, make more gazelles and live in peace. These two business models are not compatible. Microsoft has the money to bear its long fangs against Linux. They won't stop until every last trace of Linux is gone.

  • @auldsbel True. But the protests against the criminal company is growing, and people have alternatives now, so it will be a long fight. Actually, right now, it is not clear that Microsoft will win that war. They can only cheat and lie to so many customers untill those customers have enough. I am quite clear in that. I have been cheated and lied to for the last time. Have used Linux for couple of years now, don't need Windows or anything else shitproduct from MS anymore at all.

    BTW love Google...

  • Isnt Novell dead?

  • @notoolrush No Novell Sold for $2.2 Billion to a company that has connected to Microsoft ...

So Microsoft now has power of the third largest share of Linux in the world ...

  • @maw88ify Thats very scary. lol

  • @maw88ify What did Novell do for the Linux community - a distro or something with the kernel? I use Ubuntu variant, it has Canonical as a sponsor, and they are not MS connected. In fact, I have never seen the Novell in connection with Ubuntu.

  • @MsPwain Novel did nothing for the community. They got into Linux because NetWare was getting spanked so they purchased SUSE. Then when they were weak Windows swooped in and bullied them into signing a BS document where they admitted that Linux stole Microsoft technology. Because of that, I tell people to stay away from SUSE, OpenSuse, and Novel products where the company threw us under the bus instead of standing up to Ballmer and Gates.

  • @maw88ify i think that you need to pay for novell, so this makes sense

  • Can't we all just get along? :)

My OS is Windows 7 but most of my software is Open Source. I wish Microsoft would make a version of Direct X for Linux. Just because you make something available for Linux doesn't mean you have to follow the Open Source philosophy.

The more interoperability we have between OS's the smoother things will be.

You want to be Open Source and "Free" fine. If not that's o.k. too.

  • @BigBobsh2o Why would you want DirectX on linux when openGL is technically superior in almost every way?

  • :))

any time now were gona have a itunes app.
