Make sure you have the current 2.2 iPod software update installed. SlotZ was written on an iPod Touch 1g so it's definitely compatible. Sometimes iTunes will 'glitch' with 1st gen iPods and apps, especially if the iPod is jailbroken. Usually just restarting iTunes and downloading again solves this.
