  • It's so pretty

  • Sorry I haven't really replied to any comments. Haven't danced for ages or on my been on my YouTube. :)

  • @iHersheyful I did like Blochs, but the shank had plastic in it, so was hard to break into these shoes. My all time fav shoes are Freeds though!

  • your right foot is leaning back a little bring it foward

  • I can tell they're still kinda new, as the shank doesn't allow you to sit on releve. Either that, or you're not fully rolling through demi-pointe. Watch for that. But you're doing a lovely job, keep it up!

  • @ShinkuChan14 You're not supposed to "sit" in your releve...? You are supposed to be working to hold yourself up. If you're sitting in your shoes or sinking, then that's not good at all, and not only is it bad for you and incorrect, you are just breaking down your shoes faster. She actually did a fine job in pulling up.

  • ur feet are realllyyyyyyy nice! :) my only suggestion is that u dont lean so much back on ur pinky toes. Try to distribute ur weight evenly

  • your shoes are beautifull!!!!!!!!!! but ur sickling a lot. good job tho i relaly really love ur shoes!

  • It looks like you are sitting back in your shoes. I don't know for sure cos I can't see your body, but by the way you go on pointe it looks like you are holding on to something and leaning away from it. Nice turn out!

  • I agree, it looks like she's sitting back...

  • yeah...

  • sometimes your ankles shake when you go on pointe that is a sighn that ur ankles are not strong enough

  • Fully stretch your feet in your shoes.

  • it looked almost perfect

  • Beautiful feet!

What brand are these shoes? I have Principal & the style is Diamond, & they don't really form to my foot well, & they bunch at the heel some. I know for sure they are correctly fitted.

  • i have a few questions because i'm about to go on pointe and i need to know about pointe shoes. I have heard that they are comterable is that true? Is it better just to buy a different pointe shoes? If so what kind? Lastly do you recommend them? If not why? Asked to anyone who sees this. ANSWER BACK ON MY PAGE BECAUSE I WILL FORGET THIS EXACT VIDEO! I will be asking other people just to get a group result. btw i have heard that they give you ingrown toenails is that true

  • Pointe shoes are actually not really comfortably, it hurts to be en pointe, but you get used to it. When you buy pointe shoes, you have to walk into a dance shop where you get fitted for the shoes that match your feet. If you have the wrong shoes, you'll get blisters and ingrown toenails, but this should NOT happen with correctly fitted shoes.

  • Your turn out is amazing!! :) but you need to roll through you demi pointe more when you go up and down on your shoes... a lot more!! Because that wont help you with the noise reducing on stage, believe me... but great job!!

  • god damnit. y cant i be born with turnout like u and good feet like that?? ive worked so hard on mine and they're no where near that!!

  • why cant i have your turnout?

    x

  • Nice turnout and a great arch!! you just have to work your feet a little more in those

  • your turn out is amazing!

  • i lovee blochs!

  • nice arch!

just need to break in those new shoes. xP

  • OMG I want a pair so badly.

  • tuck in your drawstrings :)

    you have really nice arches

  • wood 6th position

  • not to bad but when you rise in first your ankles are shaking (not strong enough yet) so dont go over or too far, control it. also when you corru use your ankles as well as your knees and itll look nicer and be better!

    keep it up :)

    xxx

  • not bad at all. loved it!

  • hi

i just uploaded my first pointe video

    any comments would be apreciated

  • what type of blochs do u have ... i got synergies

  • Nice arches!

  • how long you you been dancing ballet en pointe

  • I can't stand dancing in the sixth position.(parallel position). I'm so used to having a strong turnout.

  • we o paralell in exercizes in class too! i don't see anything wrong with it unless u turn in...yep

  • You've got very beautiful legs and nice archaes; which model are your Blochs?

  • u r very good but never go up in paralell bad for ur feet ok !

  • Thanks.

I do exersizes at my class where we go up in parralell and my feet are okay at the moment. but thanks for the concern. :]

    xxx

  • @sardesheh that isn't true /: not at all.

  • @sardesheh that's not true.

  • @sardesheh It's fine to go up in paralell. As long as your feet are staying straight and not sickling (spelling?) or rolling in.

  • very nice. Just remember to tuck in your drawstring and ribbons a little better!

  • VERY NICE!!!!!

  • nice feet.very nice

  • nothing. you did really good.!!!

  • i think by nutral she means not with feet in parallel 1st or watever its called. with two feet next 2 each other facing forward. we do that for one of our warmups though. some people do it,some peole dont. very nice btw

  • I have great respect for pointe dancers. It's not easy.

  • you need to tuck your bows in and i said stop going up in nutral

  • I know.

    This is quite old.

    I added it in december.

And what do you mean by "nutral"?

  • VERY HUGE improvement111 very very nice feet, and i love the color of ur shoes!! ;)xx

  • Thanks so much. :D

  • you have lovely feet! Just tuck in your bows and ribbons!

  • Thankyou!!

    xx

  • wow its soo nice, you role up on pointe beautifuly , good job

  • Wow thankyou! xxxx

  • tuck in your ribbions and bows

  • in first roll through more when you come down

  • beautiful feet, i'm gealous,lol

  • Thanks so much :D

  • tuck in ur drawstrings and u will look great.

  • Will do& thanks ;]

  • you have a great turnout! and those are really nice shoes it looks like they fit you pretty well! your a great ballerina!

  • roll through demi, pointe your toes, and get to actual postions when on toe, on flat you're in nice 5ths and such, but on toe you don't rap, or do any positions, your foot seems to sometimes just be hanging. and also tuck in those draw strings! :D keep working!

  • ... gwd but try and go through demi more!! ...great turn out!

  • Tuck in your srawstrings, put your weight over your big toe instead of your pinky toe so as to protect you from breaking your ankles, and do more releves in flat shoes because your ankles are very wobbly.

  • i think you should tuck in your drawstrings, it looks more professional

  • Yes, i do now, this is a quite and old video....

  • amazing turnout!

  • Tuck your strings in! They are not decorations! ;)

    Looks good. Keep dancing!

  • very good!

  • j'adore ton cou-de-pied!! et tes pointes sont très belle!

  • Merci beaucoup, thats très aimables à vous.

  • Thank you very much. :D I will take all your advice on board. x

  • Good work, just tie your ribbons slightly tighter, tighten your drawstrings to avoid any gappy sides and tuck them in but apart from that not bad at all and keep up the good work!

  • you have such facility en pointe! beautiful strong arches and ankles.

  • stick your pig ears in and your bows

  • Nice turnout! I agree with enigmatic, tuck in those drawstrings cuz they're distracting from how nice your legs and feet look :)

  • Make sure to tuck in the drawstrings so they don't distract from your feet! =] The shoes themslves look very nice on your feet. Usually I dislike Blochs, but I think they suit you very nicely. =] You look a little wobbly; make sure you're keeping your weight over the first two toes, and not back on the littler ones. That's about it. Good luck! =]

  • Thanks very much for the advice, the next video your going to see my drawstrings tucked in :D

  • what have you put on the tips of the shoes? I also put some leather on it but I use suede from my old pointe shoes' soles (the tips that are sent in the stores are too narrow for the platform of my blochs). can you tell me what you use?

  • Those shoes are the Bloch Triomphe model (I think!!), which are a beginner shoe with moleskin or suede already attached, and I believe some built in padding as well.
