These things are made by Bernett-Modellbau and have a fully functional hydraulic system. They are built to order. The cable is a serial control tether used in the case where there would not be enough band space to run multiple RC units.

These model are all custom built but amazing machinist. their are very few companies that make kits but you are looking at dropping 3000-5000 for each model.

This model is radio control. This video was taken in Germany where these model are VERY popular and they all get together at meets. the problem is there are not enough frequencies for the all the model so some if not most people have wired buddy cables they can plug in so they do not use a frequency. this model in seconds can be running on Radio Control

I remember these! they were introduced in 1987 made by New Bright. These Cats are super detailed and pure awesome!

They series had two sizes. The smaller versions had wired controllers and the huge ones rechargeable batteries and super cool controls.

I remember New Bright had the 990 loader, 777 dump truck, an excavator, the thing in the background at 0:22, a grader and a concrete mixer.

I always wanted the D11. But my dad wasn't cool with the idea of kids having fun.

They are no longer made. New Bright introduced them in 1987 and discontinued them in 1992. In 1993 they re-introduce them again but added a red button on the side for "real like" sounds and replace the wireless with wired controls which totally suck.
