  • Finally nokia is showing what's in the vaults.

  • nj

  • interesting!

  • this is great for the novelty value, but pinch/zoom is easier and more accurate..

  • Nice...but what for?

  • nokia fleksibel. amazing..seperti karet ne handphone

  • How do you phone with this thing? :S

  • I imagine my fingers tired after a few photo zooms... I think it's pretty pointless.

  • yo vine aqui por mixbits xD

  • now make a dildo

  • Be nice if the person handling the product had a clue what they were doing! The aimless twitching, twisting, and bending is annoying! Cool technology though!

  • @Shadjc Aimless? You realize they were manipulating the interface by bending the screen right?

  • why it doesn't has a TouchScreen?!

  • @yinon500 Because it is a Nokia Research Center's prototype that has been made to introduce the kinetic properties of the future phones and their user interfaces.

  • 感覺玩到手會痠?

    但是算另類間接按摩 xD ?

  • 感覺很耐用

  • 感覺噱頭了點

    實用性我覺得我應該手會很酸...

  • whats the point of this? lol

  • 這種螢幕從正方重壓不會怎樣嗎?比如說拇指壓下去

  • 看完影片,我猜下次可能會推出用舌頭控制的手機吧...

  • = =this video just waste my time

  • 拗久了手會痠吧

  • and?

  • COOL......BUT.....=..=

  • -.- A Device that you can bend. OMG Its gonna so huge.

Fuck this shit. when they make electronic paper-thin news papers that do wireless updates, il be impressed.

  • I think It will not blend !

  • @1nsage Oooooh.. will i blend don't worry ;)

  • Flexible but no touchscreen???? What a fail!!!

  • what

  • Flexible is nice but as a control? WTF.

Just make it flex with a touch ui.

  • Stupid idea

  • I thought they made it flexible to just withstand drops. Flexing to move around the screen is kind of dumb when you can use your fingers to do whatever you wanted

  • One handed operation anyone?

    One big BS.

  • That's stupid. I'd start getting pissed if it didn't do what I would want. iPhone is still the best.

  • @bigbw14 : you r the very one of "I don't care"

  • Did anyone els hear the nayan cat in the background?

  • a phone that is flexible is a good idea it won break easily

    good bye iphone you suck

  • y si solo tengo una mano?

    -

and if I have only one hand?

  • I can bet 1million dollars this wont be "impractical" when apple or samsung drops it next year. All thats being proved here is haters gonna hate. With minds like what the majority of you have the world will be stuck in the past. Bless the few who sees the possibilities this device offers.

  • Got a flexible boner..

  • shit un telefono flexible.. :D

  • Twist a bit to dial. Twist a bit that way to call. Twist a bit that to... oops, that erased all the memory!

  • Completely pointless.

INUTIL!!!

  • the UN-natural interface.. haha

  • Not very convenient, but looks good

  • I won't buy it

  • when u can use your fingers with touchscreen, this way of using the device is trash.

  • how can i send a message?

  • @FullMetalMayhemOne

Put it gently on the floor and jump on it till you hear a " "#€"%/&/@#" sound, which means the message is send

  • that was sucks its very ugly using that phone

  • Oh My God This is Beautiful

  • 2-3

  • so what if its flexible.....................

  • mi cara

    O.O

  • Hey Nokia,

care putting a decent OS on this thing?

it would help this phone not suck dick in sales >>"

  • Wo0w ala madres!!!! ke perron!!!

  • I think nokia texture touch screen is a better concept

  • This is a cool device! But I can't see people using it in practical way.

  • MIXBITS...!!!

  • it is a good idea...but i think...is it a falling back of technology as we can slide

  • @132skysky innovation is never falling back.

  • THIS IS BULLSHIT

  • lend

  • But how in the name of the Lord's penis, is this more productive?!

  • what's the point!!

  • @ymcartoons

    exactly ;)

  • NOT with symbian, please.

  • @vios688 Oh yes.

  • Nokia will always have a place in my e-heart because of stuff like this.

  • Atleast you can get frustrated at it without braking it...

  • sure people are going to do stuff like this with their phone while walking

  • Will it blend ? that is a question :D

  • Olhem watch?v=PTvguWbtfEU

  • why cant they make the avatar transparent touch pad?

  • OMG USEFUL

  • don't forget to break it candy-ass

  • Nokia launch 1st - Fail , no one gonna buy it

Apple launch 2nd - All want this phone becaus its "innovating"

Samsung launch 3rd - again something "copied" from APPLE

  • Will it B(L)END?

  • @Ygr3ku

    Brilliant comment XD

  • @1PES1 xD am i right, right? xD

  • @Ygr3ku absolutely XD

  • not practical.

  • @lifesoeasy I thinking about that too. Actually, thats a good idea, if there is a game, what need this feautre, after (half) an hour, you hands are finished. I mean, if you use it for too long time, i'm sure, it's tireing: it's a physical moving, by your muscles. On long time doesn't matter, you don't have to do it with mutch power, ot not. I hope, if every device will be have this, the touch screen is also will enough to control. I'm happy also, just because like that the device is more durable

  • it'll be mine sooner......

  • but will it blend?

  • i think i may feel tired if i use this@@

  • at least we can be sure that the screen won't break or crack if u dropped it accidentally... unlike iPhone's

  • Cool,but useless..

  • Will it Blend?

  • @jyondm

    probably not its too flexible

  • btw.. Apple FTW

  • finnish people are very smart ;) sweden sucks...

  • 2 years from now.

The new iPhone 6s has revolutionized phones as we know it! It uses a unique flexibility technology!

Applefags: ''OOooh my god apple is so brilliant and unique!!''

  • Hard...

  • will it blend?Nokia's flexible

  • wooww!!!! flexible cellphones! niicee.... =)

  • my dad says this is lame.WTF?

  • Just hope that Nokia won't go bankcrupt because of warranties...

  • People crying over missing touchscreen, dialing etc. Come on this is obviously a prototype purely for studying the flexibility aspect... not something to buy as "your next phone". Damn.

  • @mikkoanttilainen if they are flexible this is means that if they fall they wont break. this is the future.

  • @R0nka hopefully. but flexibility won't be something to replace existing controls.. but to make things easier especially for those of us who are aged and lack the dexterity needed for multi touch interactions, just for example

  • @mikkoanttilainen no one said they will replace .. its like the kinect on xbox, you can use it but you dont have too.

  • @R0nka yes some assumed they would -- in fact they cried over "no touchscreen" etc. "how to dial with that"... thinking that everything in the device are controlled that way :-)

  • o touch falhou em 0:27 ?? lol

  • а прикольно)) только такой еще долго не поступит в продажу

  • Yeah, this looks like a typical Nokia Phone: It's chip is waaay too slow to display anything in awesome smoothness.

Still, flexing a phone is kinda nice

  • This isn't the only thing I'll be bending.

  • mom: CALL 911!! the killer is inside our house!

me: how do you dial this shit? lol.

  • Good thing to have but not on phone

  • Cool, but how are you even supposed to dial a number on that thing?

  • seems fun in the beginnnig but what about after 1 or 2 hours messing with this, maybe it'll waste u

  • honestly i would break this in the first week of having this lol i would test to see how far i could bend it and im almost positive that you would eventually wear down the material used to make this device and it would break after around a month or two of bending on a regular basis. (i feel i have to post this last part cause theres always one dumbass who's rude about what i say. this comment is my opinion, everyone has their own opinion. don't be a dumbass and judge me about my opinion.)

  • i 'll prefer iphone..

  • I might destroy it by my bare hand in a few hours

  • spring 2015 - nokia launches this phone, no one buys it.

fall 2015 - apple launches iphone 11 with this same tech, claims they've innovated it, everyone buys it

  • @rovistarr that means everyone believes a rich liar than the true inventors... :D

  • @rovistarr No matter how strangly it would sound, but apple is nowhere near the leader of smart phone market :)

  • @rovistarr Your point is?

  • @pedrovida23 everyone will go for APPLE even if both phone have the same tech.

  • @rovistarr LOL

  • does it have a warranty? lol

  • This product seems like a stress fracture waiting to happen.

  • Jesus christ! Launch it already! This could be the golden ticket for Nokia! People don't give a shit about how good the software on the phone is, 80% off the early adaptors simply buy something because off the "cool factor". Everybody, even your grandmother's got an Iphone or some Android thing. I'm getting a little Apple and Samsung tired, and this could be something new and fresh!

  • does it come wiht android?

  • AIKON FAIL

  • not gonna work with fat people, and there's a lot of them in the US!

  • The question is: Will it blend?

  • The Elongated Man's phone

  • it seems that nokia has run out of ideas...! bad touch screen 0:26

  • @iMiRSK182 The concept here is of a flexible UI not a touch screen one...

  • Quiero uno de esos :D

  • @Armoredlamb not only is it flexible but it also looks great! Like Samsung Gallaxy S phone screen's. So I think that's why they would put it in a tv

  • FINALLY an innovation, which does not copy the apple products, and brings new style...(I have an iPhone4 user, but wanna try this..!!)

  • wow! no tension of phone being in the back pocket when u sit! :P

  • bad touch screen see at 0:26

  • Suuuuuuuuuurely your hands would ache after using this for a few minutes! Nice concept though. ;-)

  • niceee!

  • Apple and Nokia together.. Imagine.

  • SONY had been working on something like this for years I remember. I think it's a good evolution from touch based gestures alone, perhaps relegating the touch screen to the back of the device which frees up the visual experience.

  • i want the one in macross frontier....

  • I <3 new technology.

  • 0:26 cant touch the screen itself i see :\

  • @djsnoogins yes you can, there are other videos.... after all it is just prototype...

  • @arsipaani cool thnx. all n all great idea

    love n miss nokia

  • It's all very fun until you bend it too far

  • @DietrL You cant bend too far so itll break

  • Aaah the real "pad", with highly absorbant case. Girls' dream phone

  • the fuck would someone need a flexible phone?

  • @Xayvyer2

i assume that it is less likely to break when dropped.... maybe. otherwise im with you. WTF?

  • @Xayvyer2 looks lighter and resistant...

  • Nokia Morph!

  • i would've buyed one!!!

  • I'm disappointed about people who can't see the future in this field. Phones will be fold-able like papers and more devices can be fold too, like tablets for example then other devices that interact with our lives. If the idea is not absurd, then there's no hope for it

  • If you can fold it then I'd be interested.

  • @TheChocolatae I dont think you can, the OLED screen can actually be folded, not like a paper (origami), but you can twist it to make it smaller.... but in a phone or any electronic device beside a screen, you have allot of components which aren't flexable enough to make the whole phone "foldable"

  • who is bending your phone any more useful than just swiping your fingers through the screen?! O.o

  • pppfffff i will not buy this cr*p

  • *Snap* oops... its still in beta thou!

  • Waste of time and money

  • flexibility without foldablity is just a gimmick.

  • Любопытно - но только как игрушка-тренажер.
