Your Healthcare is excellent, the educational system all the way through college are 100% funded, they are even given some money while attending higher education. Poverty is under 3 %, in the states its almost 20. Unemployment is much lower, and the few unemployed get assitance finding a job, and benefits. They understand the importance of childcare, so mothers get time off to take care of children. Also,Crime is FAR lower..

I have been to Denmark twice. Let me tell you, it is truly the happiest place I have ever been. My band was there 9-11-2001, and the Danes were very supportive of our situation. I have a lot of Danish friends, and they are great people. To answer the question, if Denmark is the best what does that make the USA. I think the answer is obvious.

And universities, sure. You should also factor in your size in this. Example: the US has more nobel prize winners than Denmark. But if you multiply that number with the population difference, Denmark has far more than the US.

Alternative energy is inefficient and not a credible replacement for oil, coal, hydro and "nuclar". Over many decades it might someday account for 10% of our total power, if everyone wants a huge inefficient wind turbine in their backyard. The market goes with whatever's the most efficient energy source, we're going to have to shell out extra trillions to "green companies" and make them rich just to have the energy output we have now, but from alternative sources.
It is a sideshow, if people feel like paying extra as individuals to get the same amount of energy for themselves from green sources, that's fine, there should be no govt involvement in the matter at all. There is no good replacement out there for the major current sources of energy, no green sources are efficient or capable of taking their place. We should be able to invent something that lets us carry electricity on power lines more efficiently though, we waste a lot of energy that way.

Many pay this because of what is done with the money. Your Healthcare is excellent, the educational system all the way through college are 100% funded, they are even given some money while attending higher education. Poverty is under 3 %, in the states its almost 20. Unemployment is much lower, and the few unemployed get assitance finding a job, and benefits. They understand the importance of childcare, so mothers get time off to take care of children. Also,Crime is FAR lower..

I have been to Denmark twice. Let me tell you, it is truly the happiest place I have ever been. My band was there 9-11-2001, and the Danes were very supportive of our situation. I have a lot of Danish friends, and they are great people. To answer the question, if Denmark is the best what does that make the USA. I think the answer is obvious.

@FcK2420 The worlds leading country? Sure, in military power and GNP. But lets take a look at GNP per capita. Suddenly the US isn't doing that well, and Denmark is ahead. The top 6% or so of the US makes more than the total rest of your population. Great society there man.
And universities, sure. You should also factor in your size in this. Example: the US has more nobel prize winners than Denmark. But if you multiply that number with the population difference, Denmark has far more than the US.

I'm just concerned about the no nuclear stance and how long it will last.
I don't see how wind energy can be pratical, actually, it look nice in a small market, but the economic reality start to matter when you really commit about it on large scale. See for German and UK experience.
The only pratical solution is nuclear power, it's to only way to produce electricity effectively without carbon emissions.

Alternative energy is inefficient and not a credible replacement for oil, coal, hydro and "nuclar". Over many decades it might someday account for 10% of our total power, if everyone wants a huge inefficient wind turbine in their backyard. The market goes with whatever's the most efficient energy source, we're going to have to shell out extra trillions to "green companies" and make them rich just to have the energy output we have now, but from alternative sources.

It is a sideshow, if people feel like paying extra as individuals to get the same amount of energy for themselves from green sources, that's fine, there should be no govt involvement in the matter at all. There is no good replacement out there for the major current sources of energy, no green sources are efficient or capable of taking their place. We should be able to invent something that lets us carry electricity on power lines more efficiently though, we waste a lot of energy that way.

why are so many americans anti their government,.
i never notice british or france attackign their government as the usa people do,.maybe its ecasue we do nto have wars or mnay enemies in europe,,i will be attacked now for saying this,.

The British are very outspoken when they don't agree with their government's choices.. I assume the French would as well.. So I find your question strange?
With the U.S. being the target of the unrelenting biased European media.. who has time to notice their own governments issues?
