  • i like that jeep man. thats almost the exact same thing im about to start buildin. the only realy diff is im prolly gona go with a standared tranny. are those full length axles?? or did you cut them down??

  • what light bar you got on there? having trouble finding ones for YJ's

  • i want those fenders

  • i wonder how i would do with my lockers and 33s?

  • you really need lockers and tires that arent bald...

  • what soft top is that?

  • that jeep looks amazing.

  • how big of lift do you have? im doing the exact same setup just 35" tires..thats an awesome jeep man..looks wicked

  • Fun i need to bring my scoutt thair.

  • Are those full width truck axles?

  • That is the only other Jeep that has the same fender flares as mine. They were on it when i bought it so i have no idea where they came from. Looks good shoulda kept it. WhyJay

  • what fenders are those?

  • @ianmcmbr bushwacker panel flares, I don't think you can get them anymore

  • @jay9228 ya u can

  • @schlueter413 link?

  • I always wonder what's that noise that jeeps make at around 3:36

  • @Wadeea1225 I think what your hearing is the power steering belt squealing because its wet and slipping?

  • the flares are bushwacker panel flares

  • do you know what fender flares you have on there they are awesome

  • christmas list...

    1:front locker

    2:rear locker

    ;-)

  • what kind of fender flairs are on there?

  • god I love YJ's! []IIIII[]

  • i have the SAME jeep, but i have a question. what do i do about tow hooks on front and rear??

i just bought it 3 days ago and i noticed i have none..

  • i have the SAME jeep, but i have a question. what do i do about tow hooks on front and rear??

  • lockers!

  • my 88 yj makes the same noise and it turned out to be a worn out stearing pump

  • dude needs to get some New tires. Come on man, a little more tread equals a whole lot more traction. That jeep has the potential to walk through those mud holes....

  • guy needs to hit the pedal a little more.....

  • awesome video! Music in the BACKground. those holes are way too big for open diffs. Big tires and big motor only work if True Four-Wheel Drive locked up. I'm still jealous!

  • I hate when people throw these big tires and lift kits on their jeeps and they perform worse in the mud then if they just added lockers in the first place when it was stock. sick jeep tho nonetheless, 350 is nice

  • you have belt slip in there seeing how you have a 350 look in to the belts drag racers use it will help. get a locker or a posi

  • Time for lockers

  • Rear lockers would have helped.

  • where did you get your soft top?

  • I have a 1988 YJ on 35" with a 2" body 5" suspension with a welded rear. A 8000lb winch with a full roll cage. 4.0L fuel injected with 5 speed, and to put it all together it is painted Lime Green

  • what flairs did you have on it if you could send me info i would be happy as my d60 and 14 bolt ff dont fit under tooo good lol

  • What front axle did you swap into this, and what transfer case? Great video

  • SQUARE head lights for teh WIN!!! Love my YJ to death, eventhough it's the 4 banger. It only has 106k miles and runs like a champ, they just don't make them like they used to :-/ -- Mfan

  • Hell yeah to the 4 banger Yjs. My '90 Yj 4-cyl has got 213k miles and still runs like a champ!

  • nice vid but why dont you accelerate more

  • @proelton thats what i was wondering

  • I love jeeps ( I own a 1998 wrangler sport,2in lift 33's,bushwaker flares and soft eight rims) and I love NIN I saw them in Columbus Ohio in November!!!

  • o my eggs!!

  • those are bushwacker panel flares

  • best jeep vid i have seen!

  • Nice rig too bad you sold it. where did you get that top from

  • Yep, often I wish I still had it, but too many other things on the go, and I didn't get out and hit the trails too often. That top was on it when I picked it up, a number of people have mentioned california soft top company, but I checked their site and they dont offer anything like this one. It is possible it was custom made, or another possibility is that its actually from a military CJ. Thanks for the comment!

  • They way the top looks its makes that look like a VW gremlin almost. With a set of lockers that thing would be a tank, but atleast you have a winch for when it doesn't go as planned. Also is that a hydralic winch because your P/S pump was whinin a bit. nice vid though

  • Thanks for the comment! Yes that top is one of the more notable features on that rig, certainly gives it that tough look. A short while after shooting that video I locked the rear diff and that made a huge improvement. The winch is electric, the p/s is squealing due to wet and worn out belts. The plan was to swap over to a serpentine belt, however due to having too many projects on the go I sold that Jeep last fall. Thanks again for commenting!

  • just needs lockers and a slip yoke elim

  • ya man awesome vid

  • how wide are those tires

  • Well I've since sold the Jeep, but I would say about 14 inches wide or so... they are 36" TSL Swampers

  • looks like they would be off of a wrangler renegade

  • I've had a few people mention that, so we found a renegade and checked, these are about 2 inches wider then the factory renegade flares..

  • hey man where did you get those front fenders?

  • I get alot of questions on those fenders, I have no idea who makes them, and I have never seen another pair like them. Found them on a Jeep here in a local junk yard and grabbed em. :) If I ever figure out who makes them, I will be sure to post it up here. Thanks for the comment!

  • Hello, I've just written to you in italian before. I'm very interested on your fenders that I've seen on your jeep in the video. The question is: where did you finded them? Thanks so much for your time... just answe to me ! Luca

  • lockers would be nice eh?

  • This jeep is a fuckin boss!

    cool video, badass man...

  • awesome truck,just need lockers..but doing great without :)

  • Whats the squealing i keep hearing?

  • Nvm, I read the other comments and it's power steering.

  • what top is that man? i have an '89 yj and i've seen that op once before but cant find it anywhere

  • Nice Jeep. Now if you can keep your friends from stepping into the video frame

  • What make fenders are those. If I ever get a YJ, I want some!

    Beautiful Jeep, man, have fun.

  • Thanks!

  • lockers in the front would most definately help you dude.

  • Yep... sure would. That's near the top of the to-do list

  • I really dig your fenders they look very nice... also nice jeep!

  • Nice video!

    Love to see more.

    OIIIIIIIO

  • is it ur power steering that is screaming like that

  • yeah, you got it.. still has v-belts on the engine here, so as soon as it gets wet it squeals really badly.. hopefully I'll be upgrading it to a serpentine belt in the near future which should take care of that.

  • the safari was is good

  • I was wondering where did you get that top? i loved the way it looks and Im looking for a nice top.

  • hehe, get asked that alot... it was on this jeep when I bought it, and I'm trying to figure out where to get them myself... Some fellow jeepers have told me it's a YJ Fastback top, but I cant find any info on them at all..

  • damn that shits wide as hell

    i gotta 87 wrangler with an amc 360, dana 60&44, t18 tranny, 456 gears, springover, 4"susp 3 "body and 35s

    i like that top

  • low and wide.. seems to be the ticket for most of the trails I go to. I'd love to upgrade to D60's sometime in the future, but need to do a few other things up proper first. The top is one of the things I like about my Jeep the best.. Cant say I've seen another one like it anywhere, and makes it look pretty cool, more like a military jeep kinda look I'm after.

  • fuck yeah man that set up is tits i have a 82 j 20 set up the same except for the body lift and its got 33s fuckin gnarly trucks

  • you got that right! rear wasnt even locked for this trip, but that's done now, and front will be locked once I've got both driveshafts back in it... (spring wheeling video...)
