  • Not bad breaks, however, in competition you are required to return to guard after the break or they dont count.

  • I'm in the ITF. Usually there are age requirements for Dan ranks because it requires life experience, maturity and training as well as other requirements such as discipline for the dans. I've never been a fan of an 8 year old with a Dan rank. Especially since I've had to tell them to stop playing tug o' war with their belts at tournaments. Just proof that in the east we don't take training seriously...

  • You can receive 'junior blackbelts' and then receive your official dan once you are of the correct age. I know this purely from being a sixteen year old third degree (the official age requirement), girl, however I also received my second degree at thirteen, a month before I turned fourteen (Again, fourteen being the age requirement for second degree). I do agree that the techniques are quite simple but they have been well executed so that is what counts.

  • Let's see.....3 likes and 3 dislikes for this vid? Guess what? I'm gonna be the 4th LIKE! Very impressive breaks. Not sure how you tested to 2nd at 13, I knwo the ITF had some odd rules for age requirements, but I still say BRAVO. Congrats on your rank.

  • She havent "Excellent kicking & striking techniques". Her flying side kick is terrible, her bandae dollyo is terrible and hers twimyo yop chagi .. there wasnt twimyo... In my opinion she shouldnt get 1rd degree... but this is my opinion. @down 13y and 3rd... this is possible only in WTF :|

  • She is not too young. I was 9 when I recieved my 2nd degree and 13 when I recieved my 3rd degree black belt with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. I started when I was 4 though.

  • i can do everyone of those kicks except the flying side kick blindfolded not tht hard at for a 2 dan black belt

  • im srry but these kicks are a litte easy for a second degree. 3 boards for a 2 step side kick is crazy i have to do a minimum of 4 to 5 and the rest of the kicks are all color belt kicks and are that hard. But congrats on breaking all the boards on the first try.

  • Great kick. See my performance breking boards in my 4th degree test at my videos

  • flying side kick was a tad bit weak (rear foot should be much higher) but everything was excellent!

that was a mean jumping turing kick btw. nicely done

    taekwon!

  • On the palm heel strike the boards broke vertically. We always align the grain so that the boards break horizontally. Is there a right and wrong way? Or is it that if they break you did it right, and if they don't break you did it wrong?

  • Kayla, you are tank.

    BTW, this is Charlie :D

  • Too young for a second degree?

As long as you got the right skill and technique you're allowed to test i mean, she's good!

  • Can anyone say "broken ribs" ? Excellent kicking & striking techniques !!! Osu !!!

  • She's good ! But i don't think she has got the level and the age required to be 2nd degree (that is not only a question of skills but of mentality and maturity)

    And some board are easy...

  • good for her, nice video(but isn't she too young for 2nd degree?)

  • @riciu88 no she would be one year young. you have to be atleast 14 for a 2nd degree. im about to test for my 3rd and im 16

  • @riciu88 My friend is 11 years old and he is almost 2nd dan. (;

  • @riciu88 Nope, I could have tested for my 2nd degree when I was...12.

  • Excellent ^_^

  • its anisa ur an f-ing tank gurl u betta be careful when i come lolz miss u kid

  • tank.
