NO. National Service means AmeriCorps and SeniorCorps. These programs are nothing but beneficial to our communities. ASK ANYONE who has been and AmeriCorps or SeniorCorps member, or who has directly received services from one, and you'll understand that they are nothing more than the BEST answer to economic difficulty, low graduation rates, poor housing, lack of job opportunities, and low standards of living. Please, if you are going to make negative comments about AmeriCorps, look it up first.
