  • Is he a cheater? Because people said he used dope

  • what jersey is he wearing, i thought he was in team radioshack or was this before he transferred to them?

  • Do Wrong! Cheat Long! Pharm Prong! Dope Strong!

  • junky

  • Was Lance not taking HemAssist here? If he had taken some, I bet he would have won the Giro, just like the 7x TdF he won

  • CHEATER CHEATER CHEATER CHEATER CHEATER CHEATER CHEATER

  • Armstrong is unquestionably the best 'Tour De France' rider, just due to 7 wins... Best modern day cyclist.... Merckx (even Lance will tell you that).... Greatest american cyclist iof all time, (Lance being modern day), Major Taylor.

  • Lance will become a legend in cycling history.

  • @jongketz105 He's definitely a legendary DOPER. Go to LanceLied(dot)com. Cheat Long, Win Wrong, Dope Strong, Ass Prong!

  • what about jaques anqetil

  • Bar adjustment? Pffff.

I can rebuild my front wheel without breaking cadence.

  • @hagenar That's classic! Insanely funny!

  • how bout all of you stop arguing and get off your ass and ride.

you can talk shit about whos the best all you want, at the end of the day every single one of them had the balls to push themselves to the limit

  • The announcer really plays up the douchey voice at the end.

  • Armstrong > LeMond

    Merckx > Armstrong

    Cycling Hall of Fame:

    1) Merckx

    2) Hinault

    3) Armstrong

LeMond isn t even Top 10.

  • @Drago110482 number 1 was anqeutil

  • why they didn`t sprint?

  • @1325194 They were 3 minutes after the winer...

  • The way Armstrong and I hate to say it even sport analysts here in the US spoke of Contador during TDF 2009, you might have thought Contador was just another domestique and not the leader of team Astana.

  • @MTOTOwaNYAYO I know. It's complete disrespect by the analysts on their part and media in general in the US. Contador was the leader on paper..a triple grand tour winner and multiple stage race winner (Basque tour, Paris-Nice, etc) and yet they gave him no credit and acted as if he was just a domestique to Armstrong, who was nowhere near the form of Contador for the tour, no matter how great his accomplishments were b4 2009.. I like Armstrong but was pissed with the attitude shown to Contador

  • Let me ask all of you, for or against Lance....Who are you and what have you done personally in the relm of cycling. If you are not Lemond or one of the "Greats" how and why does your opinion matter. Have you done what he has or any of them for that matter, myself included. Regardless i dont think it is fair for us to judge and criticize a man who has accomplish far more than any of us have and more than likely will...His feat was amazing and we can leave it at that

  • he did it on dope...he's never won more races in the same year as someone like ythe great as Contador,Eddy, Banard , or Fausto. do I need to say more....?

  • Oh, did I mention that he's a soar ass loser... He couldn't beat Contador, so he stole the whole Astana team from Contador. Pretty low sportsmanship if you were to ask me.

  • Could you beat Contador...............you wouldnt last a day against him my bet, Talking about Lance Armstrong this way sounds like pretty low maturity on your part

  • No that's my opinion, and Lance is over rated.

You're damn right...I couldn't beat Contador, on his worst day. And niether could Lance.

  • @duveimperial You've clearly never seen him in his prime

  • Lance Armstrong is the man. I don't care if he's a cyborg running on nitromethane, he's still the man.

Yoda: "Do or do not, there is no try"

    Just do it...

  • A man who was not seen as a futur winner of TDF after his first 4 TDF and then became unbeatable, that is very suspicious. Too much in common with many doping stories like Ben Johnson.

It's not casual that 6 samples of Lance have EPO, many people have testimonied about his doping, and of course his work with the most renowned doping doctor Ferrari.

  • Lance never finnished a tour de france before he was ill with cancer. So, if he never finnished a tour..and all of sudden win 7 in a row.. why did he not capitalize on other big tour victories.?

  • @duveimperial have you ever heard of goals. Good cyclist (sportsman) always has a goal for the season. He's goal is TdF, everey each year. But I can easily see that you've never done any sport

  • He probably won those TDF because he focused so intensively on that event.... that was his priority and his business. As for not winning or finishing the TDF prior to his cancer, if you look at his record, he was making good progress up to that point... its as if the cancer was a pause button for him. I would have to think that battling cancer is a reflection of who he is as an athlete... gotta have that killer instinct to win. Just my two cents here....

  • because possibly doing other tours would sacrifice winning the de france and his preparation for the tour de france

  • Tour de France (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005) 22 stages

    World Cycling Champion(1993)

    US National Cycling Champion (1993)

    Tour de Suisse (2001)

Lemond won three TDF's and two worlds. He was a good cyclist. But he can't be in the ranks of Merckx, Coppi, Hinualt,. Contador looks like he is going to be the man who crushes everyone in the next decade.

You either hate Armstrong or love him. But damn, give him some credit.

  • @daddypants22 I give him credit for being an incredible walking pharmacy.

  • @daddypants22 no!

  • @daddypants22 i give him a shitload of credit but when he said he would return i started to h8 him because sounded to me like he thought he still was the very best and that everybody would stop loving contador and andy to love him instead

  • @daddypants22

My how things change...Contador didnt even make the podium this year....Oh he's great and he will compete for years to come, but I remember when they were saying that Jan Ullrich was going to win 10 TDF's...didnt happen...

  • When does the British reporter come into this video? Paul Kimmage is Irish, and he is also right.

  • Armstrong is the best rider ever

  • @franrafuki Umm no. Pretty much ALL he did is TDF.

  • the best biker ever.

  • Lots of respect for Armstrong, but Eddy Merckx was, is and will always be the best biker ever!

  • Don't you know, I'm am the best biker ever?

  • I advise you to look deeper into the history, and the sport itself before making that statement. He hasn't accomplished hardly anything compared to Merckx,Coppi,Hinualt, and even LeMond, and Contador.

  • I hardly consider winning 7 consecutive Tours not comparing to Merckx, Coppi, Hinault, and LeMond... Contador doesn't even come close to comparing, and Armstrong has won the Tour more than any of the others.... Sure, he might not do as well in other events but granted, 7 Tours, consecutive no less, is enough to make him one of, if not the best cyclist in history....

  • C'mon, you can't call him the the best...That's way too far off his league.(He would have win the Giro, or the Vuelta,a couple of times to even be in the same category as those great champions.) I'm sorry but if you've take the rest of the racing season off just because you've won the tourDF, doesn't make you the best, even having won 7 in a roll. The best of all time, usually win all around and different races that are just as important as the TDF.

  • @duveimperial couldn't have said it better.

  • But you see...He cant be one of the greats. He hasn't won any thing but the Tour for seven straight times. that doesn't make him one of the greats, when he hasn't accomplished what the greats have done. Win big around the world.

  • @duveimperial but who are you to judge this man....i repeat, a nobody, and neither am i but i stress that he has accomplished more in his cancer campaign then you

  • Comment removed

  • I think it's a different bike. Instead of the yellow bike that he road later in the Giro.

  • CHAMPION !!!!

  • he really shouldnt of quit when he did. I dont know if i could return to the sport after being number 1 like he was for so long. Its like working at a job being the boss then selling your company then being hired to work as one of the lower workers.....

  • Lance is not in physical form yet..I agree with Mac! good to see armstrong being "human" and showing weakness ..No problem.

  • good to see armstrong being "human" and showing weakness
