Allow me to correct you. That pilot in Minooka il, should advertise under the pilot sign that it's also a truck driver training lot. That lot is made for 48's. Not 53's. Cops frequent there at LEAST twice a week for backing accidents.

Hey now, i work at Pilot! I understand that you guys don't get paid enough for what you do, but trust me buddy, neither do we. it just seems like all truckers ever do is complain. Our managers give us loads of stuff to do on top of dealing with angry costumers. I will admit tho, i do work with IDIOTS, even the managers suck. And there's so much ass-kissing. They cheat people out of hours, dont pay overtime, and the laziest workers get hired to manager positions. Can't complain tho, its a job.

I love Pilot Travel Center up in Lebanon, TN! I used to work there, great people! And yall truck drivers can be quite amusing haha! i love the variety of people i meet there :) And we had the TV room and Showers and Laundry and all that Jazz...I heard it was rated as one of the Nicest Pilots.... :)
I work at this Pilot and the parking situation is a city problem. They won't sell us the land because they wanna write tickets. If you notice, Minooka police hang out around their all day and night. It's a cash cow.

I think there is a pilot off of 75 in kentucky you gotta drive 2 miles around the block if you want to park after fueling, in one of 3 parking spots. What a joke.

KLLM knocked that out! The Pilot off South Atlanta Rd. in Atlanta, GA is horrible, way to small, trucks line up to the exit ramp off I-285...The only time I can get in there for lunch is when I'm bobtailing
Pilot in Atlanta on I 285 Exit 16 isn't much better, the shitters are usually out of order, the showers are always dirty, I watched the cleaning guy walk into the shower, pick up the towells lay new ones down then close the door, NASTY! Then the lot, your door gets knocked on all night long with the fine citizens of Atlanta wanting to sell you thier fine jewlry, and commercial services.
Sadly there are so many places like this out there. Pilot in Armadillo, the Flying Hook in Armadillo, and then there is a real lovely place in Sullivan MO Flying J, one road in and out, great during a fuel rush.

Minooka is one of the worst Pilot stops. There is 1 fuel station on the other side of the interstate just over the bridge too. They take comdata and efs. Its always empty there.

What is going on here is that your all in such a damn hurry to leave that you just line up like cows in a feeding troff and then you wanna blame it on the pilot workers!
no blame on the workers, it is the ones that design the parking lots many peelots have made their parking lots so tight it is impossible to squeeze in between two other parked trucks, most exit and enter the same area
they should all have an entrence and an exit or at least the one I worked at for 6yrs did. Sorry I have a bad taste for most drivers because of the way I have been treated by most of them working in a truck stop as a diesel cashier. I am not speaking for all of you but most drivers are dirty and just plain MEAN!

Pilot in Atlanta on I 285 Exit 16 isn't much better, the shitters are usually out of order, the showers are always dirty, I watched the cleaning guy walk into the shower, pick up the towells lay new ones down then close the door, NASTY! Then the lot, your door gets knocked on all night long with the fine citizens of Atlanta wanting to sell you thier fine jewlry, and commercial services.

Sadly there are so many places like this out there. Pilot in Armadillo, the Flying Hook in Armadillo, and then there is a real lovely place in Sullivan MO Flying J, one road in and out, great during a fuel rush.

Drove for Swift not too, long ago.
I've run across plenty of this and this was probably one of the few things I hated about driving.
I also kept the CB off most of the time, only had it on for emergencies and such.

Minooka is one of the worst Pilot stops. There is 1 fuel station on the other side of the interstate just over the bridge too. They take comdata and efs. Its always empty there.

no blame on the workers, it is the ones that design the parking lots many peelots have made their parking lots so tight it is impossible to squeeze in between two other parked trucks, most exit and enter the same area

they should all have an entrence and an exit or at least the one I worked at for 6yrs did. Sorry I have a bad taste for most drivers because of the way I have been treated by most of them working in a truck stop as a diesel cashier. I am not speaking for all of you but most drivers are dirty and just plain MEAN!

there is some entertainment on the radio only if you get around truck stops. other than that thats about it. when you get out on the road its pretty lonely unless your on the INTERSTATE
