Glad to know that a young person like you loves Elvis ballads from the 60's. I am always of the view that the average young people today don't have a good taste in music - thanks to the music industry that has churned out trash for them - as clearly shown on the American Idol and MTV, etc. The music today is long on screaming and short on haunting melody. And the instrumental backing is no where compared to the real-instrument, orchestral backing from the golden era of pop.
