  • I've never been here but I enjoyed this video very much ... The song fit perfect!!! God bless :)

  • If Southerners were as stupid and unsophisticated as they are betrayed, would they have created a wonderful civilization called Savannah?

  • Thanks for this sweet ballad of my hometown.

    Really enjoyed it!

  • Thank you so much for the video!

  • But dont get me wrong, living here is great, the city and everything is great

  • It sucks how on vacation it seems nice, once you live here its kinda like, ehhh, whatever.

  • After viewing Savannah, go on over to Tybee Island and see what Jerry Fagan saw and wrote a new song "Tybee Island the Song". It's a humorous party song to be enjoyed by ALL!

  • iT´S BEAUTIFUL CITY, I AM ELECTRIC ENGINEER AND NEED A JOB FOR COMING BACK TO SAVANNAH.

  • have been there a few times very nice city !!

  • My Home!! SAV Proud!!

Running in Place -- Tiffany Ivey

Singer: Tiffany Ivey Producer: Sick Note Music Directed by: Kamali Minter..

  • Love my home town, planning on moving back.

  • Thanks for uploading this video it's a fantastic tribute to a beautiful city.

  • sydney australia, beats this place

  • @llandod77 Sorry I think you mean Melbourne, Australia to me Savannah looks a bit like Ballarat & Geelong mixed together.

  • @llandod77 but sydeny doesnt have the history and culture and food of savanah, and i don't mean recent arrivals bringing their food, i mean the traditional food of the place.

  • @shubroto81 yeah true, but i would have to say its hard to beat eating in sydney, mainly as on a ratio basis Australia is the most mixed nation around, which gives a wide variety of food. Good eating in savannah, to i loved it. Sydney and Australia has culture, its just a different culture, it has history which is older, granted only 220 years of European history, aboriginals among the oldest people around

  • Me gusta mucho Savannah, estuve hace 4 años alla, me gustaria vivr alla

I like Savannah very much, i was there 4 years ago, i think come back to live fi God want it.

    Thank Savannah !!!

  • Already planning to go, but this makes me want to be there RIGHT NOW! What a beautiful song and tribute to a true Southern Lady: Savannah.

  • It's true. Just avoid the ghetto

  • Hi I have a question does anyone know where I can go to find Mansions for sale in Savannah, GA?

  • My name is Savannah and this video made me feel special!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!

  • see how pretty the suburbs r...(live there)

  • The south really does take the cake on the prettiest Victorian architecture in the US. Of the southern cities, however, Savannah does seem to take the grand prize.

  • This song and video made me smile. Fell in love with Savannah and plan on moving there as soon as I can. Savannah is the most beautiful city.

  • this song and video made my day! I'm moving to Savannah Oct. 18 and am looking for a place to stay temporarily and am looking for work. I've got some money saved to tide me over, but if anyone reading this has any leads on housing/work, I'd be so happy to hear it. Gotta get to this beautiful city!

  • We appreciate the song. It was very nice and what a beautiful tribute to our home town

  • the oyster comment is SOOOO correct!

  • I love pretty cities and Savannah is one of my favorite one.

  • At 1:58, the porch looks slanted but that is the way they built them way back then, so the rain would run off the front.

  • Title here is accurate - hard to find a city as pretty, and I've seen more than a few.

  • We visited Savannah in March 2010. We are Europen and we really loved the city. I don't know, somehow he have heard a lot bad things about the crime in Savannah before we visited but never spotted anything and never had a bad feeling about the Town. It feels very safe. In fact, we decided to stay 3 more nights :) Truly a gem in the South US!

  • wow, really pretty song. My family lives in Savannah, I'm a few states away. = ( But, my heart is there with them. That looks like my parents porch at 1:59! =) Miss them now.

  • This is lovely. I"m just surprised the slideshow didn't involve a picture of the Tybee lighthouse, as its something I always sort of include in my mind for Savannah.

I miss Savannahy. I used to go at least once a year and i haven't been in at least three now.

  • Never heard his song before...

  • You gotta admit Savannah has the best atmosphere. And they got some of the best restaurants too. Savannah, New Orleans, Charleston ---- top 3 cities of the South.

  • I absolutely love Savannah. If their is any city that truly captures the symbol of southern life at its greatest its Savannah. I'm from Virginia, as much as I love my home cities Richmond and Virginia Beach, Savannah is the most beautiful place in America. My second favorite place would have to be Charleston.

  • I'm moving here in a couple months to be with my southern bell! <3

  • Yes, this place is so great. We have family there & keep visiting. My husband & I have fallen in love with Savannah & are seriously considering moving there. It has it all and more!

  • im visiting here for the first time, being from brooklyn i never saw a city this beautiful, i wish i lived here, the people who live here, i hope know how lucky they have it

  • The older I become the more I miss Savannah. I enjoy my visits more and more.

  • Being from LA, I laugh at your definition of "ghetto"

  • Being from Chicago, I laugh at LA's definition of "ghetto"

  • @Blackwater1

L.A. is bigger than Chicago, dude. Sorry.

  • L.A. is bigger than Detroit too but L.A.'s suburban ghettos have nothing on that city.

  • there really is no city as pretty as savannah... as long as you stay on the downtown side of henry st... tourists seem to miss or ignore the ghetto extending from there to victory dr.... on every street on the west side of mlk from bay st. all the way to derenne ave = projects/ghetto. if you truly love/admire savannah, leave river st. from the mlk ramp headed into midtown and look out of the passenger window the whole way. not to undermine the video, but the truth is the truth.

  • @dbycrash I agree,at one time i lived there.Although i loved living downtown i didn't go west of MLK or east of E Broad st at night. What a shame that Savannah doesn't tear down the projects like Atlanta did to get rid of the free loaders.Savannah would truly be the best place to live if they could get rid of the crime.

  • @MidnightNSavannah I think Savannah is doing a pretty good job with the downtown, but it takes time. It has improved by leapes and bounds in the past 10 years. Once the Baby boomers can sell their houses up North the downtown area is going to be swamped with more money and the SCAD students will move into the outskirts which will be the key to lowering the crime in the outskirts area. My parents live East of East Broad right now(just moved down from New York) and they have had no problems.

  • Greatest city in American by far!!!

  • Yeah Savannah is one of my favorite cities, been there 5 times now. Hometown of my mom and grandparents.

  • I love Savannah, it has been one of my favorite places that I have ever visited, and I hope to return there very soon.

  • absolutely wonderful .... i lived in savannah for many many years , even got married there twice ... sure do miss it ... this made me cry . thanks so much .

  • I can't get enough of this song. Thanks so much to the writer and to Tiffany for singing it!!!

  • Thank YOU for the compliment!! I really appreciate it and it makes me so happy to know you are enjoying my song and Tiffany's amazing rendition!! the "writer", Jayne Olderman

  • Nice sights and sounds,BUT where is that BEAUTIFUL church with the twin steeples!

  • this song made me cry..i love savannah so much :) i'm not from the south, but i'm trying to get there as soon as i can! ;-)

  • thank you. you did our city justice

  • What a beautiful, gracious song! This tribute to Savannah makes me recall all the great times I had growing up there. Enjoy all the warm friendships, great southern hospitality and delicious food. Savannah is a real "Charmer". I'll be back!

  • I am crying right now. I am stuck here in Florida and can't go home again to Savannah and I miss it sooo much. I came home for St. Pattys day and sat down in Greenwich cemetary and just cried and swore I would never get up from the bench. But, hopefully one day soon I can go home to stay. A piece of my heart is missing and until I am under the shade of a 200 year old oak I will survive and pray the time passes swiftly. May everyone that lives in Savannah know how truly lucky you are.

  • @megm34527 I'm with you on moving back there.I miss Savannah to,i always go to Colonial Park Cemetery and relax and people watch.

  • I love this! Thank you! I grew up in Savannah and I visit as often as I can. It truly is a special place and will always be my hometown.

  • This is a beautiful song and video. My family LOVES to visit Savannah I can't wait to pass this on.

  • Thank you so much for passing this video on!!! share the love for this beautiful city!<3

    -Tiffany Milagro :)

  • We moved here 15 place and there is no place we have visited in the world we would trade it for.

  • Today's shrimp mostly come from commercial factory farms. Crawfish will always be true "low country" denizens, caught by hand, and will always carry that romance. Thanks for your concern, but I'll stay with this choice. Andy

  • @steinie48 Great !!! It's a beautiful video friend, go ahead

  • This is really beautiful, and I love the song, but the crawfish gotta go! How about a platter of big steamed shrimp?

  • Go Jayne...luv ya!!!

    C.Y.

  • :-) thnx Chris! You know I wrote this song the day we moved from Savannah sitting in a parked car crying into my dictaphone! That is one special place! It was hard to leave. xo j.o.

  • We moved here 15 years ago and wouldn't trade for any other place we have visited in the world.

    Ray G

  • Great Video!!

  • Beautiful pictures and wonderful song, perfect match. Thanks

  • Steinie48........TMilagro........An introduction to Savannah to be proud of.

Andy do you happened to be related to a "baby doctor"?

Thank you for a sharing this beautiful trip through my lovely city.

  • Thank you!Thank you !Thank you!!

! this was absolutly beautiful!!! everything I love about savannah!!<3

    -Tiffany Milagro

  • Loved the video and song - except the crawfish. Old Savannah does oysters. With oysters, it would have been perfect.

  • Thanks for your comments. The oysters I've seen in Savannah are all served raw--the picture of the crawfish therefore matches the song line "low country cooking" better than the oysters, even if oysters are more popular, I feel. Thanks again, Andy

  • from the denizens of jacks 3 stool bar, to whomever participated in this production, kudos, sierra hotel.

    marsfriend

  • OMG! I moved from Savannah to Central California 29 years ago and still miss it!! This video makes me want to go back home!!

  • You "GOT IT"!! You really get it! You captured the song and the city! THANK YOU!
