nice one dude but you need to go back to the 'G' after you do the lick on the 'A' cool sound . have a quick look on here at the knickerbockers and you'll see he slides down fron the 'g' just before the 'a' lick . also check out the blond honey jiggling in front .
At :31 and :34 you are playing a B major chord, and I think it should be a B minor. Same thing at :44 and :48.
Also, those two chords at :40 sound all wrong. I'm not sure what the proper chords are, but they are definitely minor, and not the ones you're playing. I hope this is helpful.
I think you need to put a bit more effort into getting the chords right - you have many that are simply wrong. Go watch the hands of the Knickerbockers' guitarist on the other youtube clips - it's obvious.
Great instrumental! I remember when I first heard 'Lies' by The Knickerbockers, and I thought it was from the Beatles until the DJ announced the name of the band. Great job xtc80bs!
They really did get the sound of John Lennon's singing and Paul McCartney's whoops down very well, and with Lies also the attitude of the lyrics, "You think that you're such a smart girl," is very 1965 John Lennon. Where they sound utterky different is in the sound of the guitars, which seems later and heavier than the period of the Beatles that they imitated so carefully in lyrics and vocals.
Singing along to this is fun.

Ouups, forgot the "Lieeeees"-part... its a half bar G, half bar Em and back to Bm.
You can see some of this in the gogodance video. The guitarplayer is also sliding from Bb to B in the Bm chord during some parts.

Thanks. Its like three parts, 1. C D and A, 2. Bm and E, 3. Bm, D and F# with open E occasionally to mimic the C D part.

First of all....LISTEN. He's not bending from the D at the 7th fret, he's bending from the C at the 5th fret TO the D.....LISTEN........

Well, yeah, the whole point of the Knickerbockers is that they're a band who resolved to sound as much like the Beatles as possible.
