Could take slap - very robust. Also pick up is very responsive. Should get a good click sound. As to tone - I think it sounds bets when you're trying for that mid 70's Richard Davis, Eddie Gomez highly amplified, low action kinda thing. It's not good for a more mellow Ray Brown or very acoustic Larry Grenadier sort of sound. I've seen my mate use it on gigs where the vibe is full on and you wouldn't know it was an EUB judging by the sound. cheers Eco
@misterecoumberto I am thinking about buying an Electric Upright Bass as I have played electric for a good 5 years now and am looking to diversify my playing. Two things really: I am an enthusiastic Slap style player and am wondering whether this bass can sustain a heavy slap?
Also, would you say the tone is reasonably close to an Acoustic compared with other EUB's? Thank you :)
