  • fuck i was going to finish the game by myself then i saw this ....

  • I wish they remade this in its entirety with just better graphics and camera. That would be awesome. Oh, and Resident Evil 2 too :D

  • Ik ga het op de psp proberen

  • i love playing this game on my psp

  • me too i think it looks better on the psp

  • Nice guide... but I'm playing it very different. I use only squall/laguna when needed. I only leveled squall while gaining the card/card mod/ stats, fleeing all other battles. Bosses gave the AP for the enc-none ability later on. At the moment I'm at disc three with squall at lv26, and everyone else at their initial levels (except quistis, she gained a level by accident). My plan is to use the "bonus" abilities to mega-level the chars. So far it's easy really... Tonberry's LvDown helps loads too

  • @michelrpg disc 1 lvl 46 havent started seeD test yet, ive been grinding for 7 hours

  • you dont grind anything in FF8. Monsters level just as much as your average party does. If you are in a party of squall/quistis, with quistis dead and not gaining exp, leveling goes slow. If you have just squall or party members alive, then gaining exp goes just as fast at level 88 as it does at level 14. That was the biggest flaw in FF8 = you only needed 1000 exp for a level....

  • @michelrpg not exactly ultimecia is easy at lvl 100 with full stats i built it up with the item money stats trick and id say it wasn't that hard even without stats full just keep pummeling her with scatter shot and Gatling gun by giving everybody hero drink

  • @runescapechode so she is easy because you used a potion that made you invulnerable. Excuse me if I don't consider this an accomplishment...

  • @michelrpg i can play 7 8 and 9 over and over again i enjoy the hell out of those 3 games more than any game i own with the exception for ff 3 Ive played and beat that game over 1 million times at least

  • Comment removed

  • @michelrpg despite the fact i cheat

  • @michelrpg dude i don't even need the hero drink i just use it cas of certain parts of her that piss me off i only play ff 7 8 and 9 to feed a gaming addiction till it goes away after that i quit till i feel the urge again im not trying to accomplish anything just cas i don't got anything to prove to anyone

  • @runescapechode You are right, you dont have to prove anything to anyone. But you cant say "shes not hard" when you used invulnerability potions.. it takes away your credibility.

  • @michelrpg what credibility is there to take i admitted i don't try to accomplish a hard beat/challenge just enjoy good games and graphics

  • @michelrpg Ya, but... can't you use that infinite money trick to eventually get: (str ups, vit ups, etc...) for everyone??? I thought of doing it YOUR way before but... this way max' everyone out easily without compromise...

  • @STRIFIST89 I never needed to use money to get those stat potions anyway, it takes too fricking long. Having squall remain at a low level as much as possible, and then using the cactuar island to level up gf's and getting all gf's to learn their stats+ skills is just easier. The only problem is getting a rosetta stone so in the end you can have 3 characters with +4 abilities. But its always a matter of preference of course, I just found money in FF8 to be an almost complete waste of time.

  • what are you playing on why does the game look so good???? it looks jagged on my t.v

  • to feraldrgn ,thanks man for your useful advices.... I don't know how to play cards,i'm gonna learn and i gonna try....

    thanks a lot!

  • Currently I'm playing FF8 and I want to play low-level,but the question is:how?

I've heard that the enemies level up with you,if I kill Squall at level 8,is ok?I mean, the enemies are at level 8 or not?

What I wannaknowisthis:the enemies depend what level isSquall or what rhe grup level is?

Please I wanna know this,so I can play the game! Thanks!

  • I'm pretty sure the enemies levels are based on your party's average level, so keeping everyone as low as possible (base level if possible) is best, there are good tricks to help make the LLG easier, such as playing cards a lot so you can refine them into VERY useful items very early game, especially since you'll be trying to avoid exp & battles. It's also recommended that when Seifer is in your party during the Dollet field exam, you level GFs & gain AP, aswel as try get magic on seifer -

  • - to transfer onto your other characters, also as seifer's level goes up, the more powerful the magic is that you can draw from the enemies you encounter. This is very useful, try to keep your other party members other than seifer dead during the mission, you can keep them alive while fighting the X-ATM092 though.

But only if you struggle (most probably not, if you levelled the GFs and seifer up) you also have a rare chance of 1 out of 4 useful drops from the boss -

  • one of which can help to make Rinoa's best weapon. Playing cards & the ability 'card refine' are the best things in this game though.

  • You can actually get magic from the card game? How? ._.

  • by converting cards to magic

look at one of your GFs it has it

  • th gf quezacotl has it its Card Mod

  • Final Fantasy VIII was pretty awesome. Quetzacotl21 is a good guide, and I know because I manage to finshed the game with level 7s' with extremely high strenght and hp. I defeat Omega Mark- I mean Omega Weapon. It's insane that you can get the Lionheart in disc 1, but just make sure you know what you need and where you can obtain it.

  • @OrderofAmbrosia You can get nearly all the Ultimate weapons in the first disc a exception on Irvine tho.

  • I am doing a perfect file save for this game but with only one escape and NO KOs for any character or GF! and getting max items and cards! i have an important question: can i hold on to the girl next door magazine and still get the shiva card on disc 4 since you dont win the shiva card through battle or a card game? if u would like some information on how to do this kind of file, feel free to reply!

  • u cant because u have to escape from the robot spider more then once and you give the girl next door to zone for the shiva card on the seed ship

  • I'm doing this run too, but not recording since it's emulated and I'm getting everyone's (save Irvine, who's second best I'll be getting since you can't get his best in Disc 1) final/best wep in Disc one. Meaning Anacondaur farm with Seifer for Dragon Skins. *groan* Wish me luck there.

  • hehe i have TWO pocket stations :P ff viii is great with one of them on side

  • can anywhere tell me who I can find a chocobo-world ? I have FF8 100% , but I haven'T the CW so I can'T have the 2 anothers G.F.s

  • you should make your videos a playlist

  • the graphics seem A LOT better than in my epsxe emulator. wonder if u used ps1, emulator or pc version...

  • This is the ps1 version.

  • fun , i remember playing a gazillion card games to get 50 ruby dragon cards ( 20 FLARES pero Red fang) before going to Dollet.

  • thnx quez this is what i really need

  • thank you so much for posting this, i love watching these. :)

  • Quez U R MY IDOL!!! i used to deal only like 103 damage until i got like 3/4 thru disc 2!! lol, and now cause of u I HAVE DELT LIKE 1002-4000 damage on the FEILD exam!!!!!!!

  • Nice... Though I got a question: What's the Seifer trick? I never heard of that...

  • It's during your first SeeD mission, when you have Seifer in your group you jus tplay as him this way you can stay a low level, but still level up your GF's.

  • Thanks! (I seariously suck at this game, thus, I was curious XD)

  • i like this vid cause i love final fantasy.
