In the early years, Moka Only was the centre of Swollen Members. After he left (which was a mistake on his part, but better for the group) Mad Child, stepped up and is now the heart and soul of the group. In my opinion, and people are going to hate me for this but.......I think Prevail is holding Mad Child back...... I think Mad Child is the greatestm and I listen to a lot of songs just to hear MC's part, but once Prevail's comes on, I turn it off instantly. I think MC should branch off.....

How much hiphop from Canada have you heard? I seriously doubt that you would stick to Swollen if you'd get to hear at least three other worthy Canadian hiphop bands. Swollen are better than 90 % of today's commercial throughout the fact that they are themselves. If they weren't, they'd be better than 100 % of today's commercial.
