It's also possible to skip the Grappling Beam and get the Plasma Beam before fighting Crocomire, so you can rape him with stile. ♥

@Didimo91 No matter what you hit him with Crocomire will only take one step for the first hit. After that it's full damage

@sicknickmondo8 There is a reset glitch that allows you to start from the space station with all the items you've already collected, also he mentions that he used that glitch in his description.

@Iwannaplayssbb Pretty sure the natural progression of the game goes High Jump Boots > Varia Suit > Speed Booster > Ice Beam > Power Bombs > Grapple Beam. In order to reach this area, he needed to get the Power Bombs, which he could only obtain the first set of(sans sequence breaking) with the Ice Beam.

WITH sequence breaking, however, it's exceedingly easy to get the Wave Beam before the Ice Beam. All you need to do is wall-jump up there from the spikes. Actually easier.
