Your Air Classic sounds pretty thick! I had one in the neck of a Gibson Les Paul I used to have. I didn't like it at all. Too thin and it'd get muddy with gain.
I was expecting the ToneZone to be overly warm but you really hit the sweet spot for that GIbson tone that seems otherwise very expensive to get. You don't need vintage amps or vintage guitars. Just know what you're going for and get quality guitars and appropriate electronics.
I loved the split coils too! Didn't think I would. I am very impressed.
Really nice showcase. Nice playing, pickups configurations showed in order, you got great sound from the hands and amp... yeah. I don't like too much talking about what the sound is like becasue it is like dancing about architecture.
I have two Dimarzios in my guitar, Paf Pro and Evolution bridge. Dimarzio are all great pickups. Now I'm looking for some "more vintage" pickups for my new guitar, and the air classic fits really well.
But, man, where did you get this shirt from? I want one of these!! With this "happy flying ball"!!
@Ca2534 2 Air classics would be good for a more vintage tone, or 2 paf pros (if you wanted a vintage sounding tone that could still handle a little more gain.) Obviously the 36th PAF would be a good choice for amazing vintage tones.
what gauge strings?

Nice playing and tones. Great to hear a bluesier player not just playing same old shit with bad vibrato!

Great demo! It's refreshing to see
1. Dimarzios in a guitar that isn't an Ibanez or some other superstrat.
2. Someone that isn't just shredding for 5 mins!
