I like what you wrote about Lightnin'---he can really reach out and git ya. His influence has been felt by many. (Johnny Winter, the Vaughan Bros., ...too many to list!)

Back about 1966 I found an early album by him ("The Roots of Lightnin' Hopkins)---it's the real thing---real music to my ears.

Man lightnin was one super cool cat. his playing and sound puts him, for me anyway, up there with the all time great origional blues men.
