  • where's part 3?

  • @AudioWaveformTV

Swan Lake - II. Dance of the Little Swans - Part 3/8

  • @AudioWaveformTV

    EVSb3dFszH4

  • HAHA

  • @TheSmutchypuss ps that was directed at lewdstep. AWESOME.

  • I really enjoy this type of music. Too bad I never liked watching ballet. It just seems to me that all the moves are the same, the choreography is repetitive, and I just find it boring. I wish I could learn how to appreciate it.

  • @ItachiTenshi Maybe try a more modern piece if you're watching mostly classical ballets. Macmillan ballets are very lovely and they have a lot of variety in them, my personal favourite is Concerto which has music by Shostakovitch, there are plenty of clips of the Royal Ballet in that on Youtube. Wayne Macgregor also does ballet but that is a lot more modern, a good one of his is Infra.

  • ...am i the only person who got here through princess tutu?

  • @skullsandroses2011 Haha, I thought me and my BFF were the only ones who knew about that show =D

  • shame on those 6 people who read "dislike" to "Dis I Like"

  • I have never really enjoyed classical music. No, I'm more of a punk-rock, pop-punk/easy core sort of girl. Of course, that was until I stumbled across a series of wonderful pieces such as this and I reaslised that I really, really enjoy this sort of music.

It really helps your creative juices flow, which is quite the blessing considering I was stuck with what to write next in my story until I heard this little beauty...

  • i just LOOOOOOOOOVE the swan lake!! <3 i would marry Tchaikovsky if i could

  • Nice. Thanks.

  • thank you for posting this, it is a beautiful composition and i just love listening and dancing to it

  • Yes! Riccardo Muti at his best. Thanks for posting

  • Wish I had better speakers, rather than my dollar store ones. Tchaikovsky deserves to be heard in perfect quality. Poor, rich, black, white, Russian, European, Asian, American, we call all listen to great music together.

  • Dark, surprising, changing, raging.... a truly masterpiece!!

  • @1389137 Just - Radiohead

  • magnificent music.

  • performed this for school orchestra.... i played hardly anything (too hard!!) But spent most of the time soaking in the amazing epicness of a True musical genius.

    L O V E

  • OMG !

  • this is the best movement in swan's lake!

  • I went to watch swan lake on ice in singapore recently and the performance was absolutely invigorating and beautiful

  • When I come to YouTube to listen to classical music, I expect people with class to be enjoying this. If you are ones who constantly swear and argue with each other; you obviously don't have any. Please leave the real music to us, thank you...

  • @sexybetches1979 Nice username

  • @bri700 Oh haha! This is my cousin's account. I just use it for music and what not. I know, not a very appropriate username for a guy.

  • @sexybetches1979

    Finally someone said this :)

  • @sexybetches1979 music can and should be enjoyed by everyone i think

  • @sexybetches1979 i wish i had as much class as you miss "sexy betches"

  • @sexybetches1979 anyone can enjoy classical music. and regardless, YOUR username is CLEARLY representative of how much class you have

  • @sexybetches1979 Unfortunately most visit classical music on youtube to show off how much they know about classical music and how cultured they are. It is a very hostile atmosphere.

  • @sexybetches1979 you say that when your username is "sexybetches1979"...

  • @sexybetches1979 It is not our place to deprive people of beautiful music, despite their choice of language.

  • i'm a guy and i like these kind of waltzes.very fun to dance but need a little practice.

  • Wow! that's an interesting tempo for this song to be played at!

  • I've always thought this song to be far too beautiful and sad to come where it is in the ballet, it would be much better placed as a dance for the swans in Act II or IV instead of a dance simply for courtiers in Act I

  • What the fuck??? :o its goes all fucking fast....after the few seconds its just like "WHOOOOAAA!!!! Ok slow down there!!!" This is waaaay too fast whoever the conductor was really made this song too fast I mean this song is supposed to be the right tempo and mellow and flowing like a lake or river. Not all fucking fast and shit like a racecar or some shit like that. :o

  • yuck, Multi sure knows how to rush through tempi.

  • This man is the drama king! Intensity, elegance and clarity in the same place! My favorite..

  • Swan Lake is so hard :c I danced the black swan..or the evil twin.

  • @Koveena15 Mee too!

  • I came here because of ponies :)

  • exquisito !!!

  • this piece makes my heart pound :)

  • It makes me happy to know that GOD has a sense of humour...

  • I feel sorry for deaf people :(

  • @lewdstep Me too! :(

  • @lewdstep me too, let me just ask you, would you rather be deaf or blind?

  • @ssstrangerzzz rather be blind :P

  • @Sofalikesfrogs I'd doubt that very much.

  • @zaftra how do u know??????

  • @Sofalikes Nobody would choose to go blind over being deaf, your just saying that to show how much you like music. If you was really given the choice to lose your site, knowing you would never see nature, your partner, any children and other family, stumbling around the place, not being able to go far, having to depend heavily on people for support, films, or not hear some music, then you would choose deafness, unless all the other meant less than music to you. Which i doubt

  • @lewdstep Beethoven crits you for 9001 damage.

  • @lewdstep You don't have to feel sorry for them, silly :) There is plenty of beauty and joy in visual arts as well :)

  • @lewdstep They can feel the beat of the music so its lik all most the same bt no quite.

  • super like!

  • This is what the dance scene in Final Fantasy VIII should have been set to. Someone make a video where this is so.

  • @therealhardrock

That would have actually been nice :D

  • the transition at 2:10 was a gift from some muse to collective musical comprehension.

  • I wish i did ballet when i was younger but know im to over weight to start

  • @awesomeviolinist15

omg i'm in the same boat.

it's my secret dream to be a beautiful ballerina ♥ nobody knows.

except all you lovely people on youtube.

but i might nobody that i know

  • @awesomeviolinist15

and i'm sure you can do it if you really try!

beleive in yourself, you're not getting any younger, start now!!! ♥♥♥

    ur beautiful i'm sure! xo

  • @awesomeviolinist15 Weight can be lost. Just go for it!

  • great.

  • everytime i search for "swan lake" i get the waltz part only... what should i search for to get the full suite, whole 8 parts in one file or 8 files in a folder???????

  • God I love this piece. But this version is a bit too fast for my taste. I like this music more slowly. ^^

  • each passage makes your ears yearned for more, simply genius

  • the beauty of music in my ears

  • Minute 4.32, that's the minute that always fills my heart. As if pure light falls in there Warm and bright and so real. Sometimes if feels like I live for this minute.

  • saw this ballet a few years ago, it was awesome <3 tchaikovsky was an amazing componist... a lot of people my age(14) don't enjoy this kind of music but i truly love it.... my mother doesn't let me play the violin anymore and i miss it so much when i listen to this, it's such great music

  • @lilylovesjack i used to listen this when i was your age, now i´m 24, and i keep on loving it, i will never get tired of this

  • @lilylovesjack Doesn't... she doesn't let you play the violin?!!

    ???

  • @Pomme843 nope, she took it..

  • @lilylovesjack Shame on her! This is an outrage! Tell her to give it back.

This is just sad. If you have a passion for music, it must be expressed! Please remind you mother that many children are forced to play the violin. And my regards.

  • @Pomme843 can't she already sold it and she refuses to buy another one and i don't have enough money to buy one myself... we still have an old piano that's just a little bit out of tune but still good enough to play on so now i'm teaching myself that....

  • Gives me goosebumps and I love it.

  • sheesh, could you imagine dancing Viennese waltz to this? it would fly!

  • I'm dancing this part in my ballet!! love this song!

  • @sidnoam how a wish to be in a conservatoir to dance ballet, it's been a childhood dream, i admire you for being hable to do what i can´t. Sadly i'm to old (21) to start now.

  • @Amyleen6 this is an amazing experience!! I'm dancing 7 years and i never get tired of that...in my country it's very popular!! and the you can make your dreams come true in every age!!! you can do it rught now if you're realy want this!! yo're nevet to old for your dreams :)

  • @sidnoam what grade r u? im grade7, doing my 2nd major performance to tchaiovsky's part 1 of swan lake. the sad one...

  • @melissalina123 I'm grade 9 ,dancing something like 7 years.

the first part is realy sad but it is beautiful!

where are you live? in U.S.A?

  • @sidnoam

Good for you! I believe more people in America should do ballet!

  • @horsechick861 haha but i don't live in America..:)

  • @sidnoam Me Too! i love it!

  • @cbrme97 realy? I'm so happy for you!!

    Are you dancing just ballet?

  • @sidnoam sometimes tap and a little contemporary. but mostly ballet in madison wisconsin

  • Comment removed

  • @sidnoam ... really?

  • @kittycatcarley ohh sorry!! I confused with something else...I meant to write something else....never mind...haha

  • @sidnoam me too! its such a hard part to dance. i am also dancing the dance of the little swans every other show.

  • @cbrme97 OMGG How wonderful for you!! We're finished with Swan Lake .... The show was amazing! Really enjoy ..... now I'm kind of leaving the direction of ballet and go חjazz and hip-hop, but I think next year I again go back to ballet and modern, it's the most fun (:

  • wow. sounds divine!!!

  • awesome

  • The transitions in this piece make my mind wander

  • Only people with class can truly appreciate the beauty of classical music.

  • @sexybetches1979 I listen to Death Metal, Rock n Roll, Punk, and the harshest of Thrash Metal... Am i still a person with class XD

  • Not to be rude, but I didn't come here to hear rhetoric about the necessity and grand beauty of music. I came to listen to the damn piece.

  • @babsbrunoo

Well, it is simple, just dont read the comments so

I see these discuss in comments as a good things, helps people to see other ones tastes and opinions,

  • @babsbrunoo

Then don't read the comments, easy!

  • @babsbrunoo Well, listen it then! What´s stopping you from it? Other people´s opinions are too noisy? (specially when they´re written... I mean... You can´t actually hear ´em... there´s no interference...). Well, you actually were kinda rude but we forgive you. Enjoy the music and be happy :D

  • @babsbrunoo you are rude... you don´t need to read de coments if you don´t want.

  • @babsbrunoo besides, you don't hear them, you read them.

  • @babsbrunoo Shouldn't have read the comments. And besides, since when has it been bad for someone to post a comment saying how good the song or artist (in this case composer) is? Isn't that kinda what the comment feature is all about: praise and constructive criticism?

  • @babsbrunoo so? You still can HEAR the music, you gotta READ the comments, so its all up to you^^ Life can be easy sometimes ;)

  • @babsbrunoo Well, just to be fair...you really didn't HEAR rhetoric. YOU CHOSE to read it and then CHOSE to get your panties in a wad. Not to be rude...

  • @babsbrunoo Comments don't exist if you don't read them.

  • I adore this...it makes me happy from the inside out. :)

  • ich meine, wie genial muss man sein um sowas zu komponieren? O:

  • i love swan lake !!! and oh my god, the black swan was the most amazing movie !! absolutely perfect :D

  • @Fabio254

    @emanresu56

the fact that you guys are arguing about religion and politics leads me to the fact that u have forgotten what music is all about, bringing people together, uniting them with one common purpose, the respect, enjoyment and admiration of a couple of notes on a page perfectly formed to create a masterpiece, if you feel the need to discuss other things like politics and religion i think you may have missed the point....

  • the transcendent part of the song - 4:30....not a single word can reach the power of this music.

  • Love this music!!!!

  • When I took ballet as a child I listened to this almost everyday. I lived and breathed Tchaikovsky. It's great to know that many years later I can still come back to this and be as inspired as I was as a child.

  • These 3 people either missed the button or have to get their ears operated!

  • i LOVE THIS SO MUCHH!!!!! Possible more than part 1, and that's prob partially cuz i've heard it so many times...

this is also very happy and energetic :)))

Wow i'm so glad I decided to try tchaikovsky out finally!

  • 19 seconds my favorite part

  • Just perfect...over 130 years and yet so divine...amazing!!!

  • taaanto penetrante...come ho fatto a vivere senza allietarmi da sì magiche armonie...credo sia il prezzo del crescere...

  • I LOVE this fast version!!!

  • Every time I listen to classical music it feels like I'm watching a movie or something...

  • Why do Atheists need to talk about religion on every occasion? In my opinion, every single debate about religion is pointless and futile. Why not forget about religion? Why not treat it as dead? Religion does not exist for me and I will not honor religion by starting or contributing to debates about it. Cheers people.

  • @hellraidzor you just started one hehe

  • beautiful!

    i liked the opening scene...

    my school's ring...

  • I saw the Matthew Bourne Swan Lake tonight, it was unreal. You can find videos on youtube, but nothing compares to seeing it in person

  • The power of religion unified a bunch of pack animals into nations and societies. It overcame the basic instincts of dominance and survival and created something more.

The power of science has always been the force paving the way for human advancement. Knowledge is power.

People need both belief and reason. Take away either one, and you take away a key part of being human.

Music is the proof of that. It is the balancing act between reason and belief, emotion and logic. Perfect expression.

  • Bicker Bicker Bicker, children....

    thanks imusiciki :)

  • my swans of abundage and misery, my swans of eternity and grace, my swans drifting on pages resembling more to musical notes than to politicians and religious mongrels. My swans make me waltz, make me light, made to be free from those who refuse to hear the twirling musical truth... Thank you Mr Tchaikovsky...

  • Fast and exciting ~

  • 4:00 - 6:22 ... Brilliant!!!

  • He is amazing! genius!

  • sooooooooooooo beautiful

  • Pst. Psst. Pssssst. Waltzes are generally quite fast.

  • I've always heard Karajan's Tchaikovsky and thought it was the best, but Muti's certainly shows a whole other side! I love it!

  • I agree this is TOO fast.

  • Why they play this so fast? I like the slower version better...

  • Pure Rock and Roll. Fantastic, marvellous.

  • @Fredamahelo1 How is this "Pure rock and roll"? Were you being sarcastic or did you literally intend to mean that classical ballet is rock and roll...

  • when I listen this song it remembers me BARBIE IN THE SWAN LAKE, so nice....and when i used to play the piano....

  • 2:10

  • beautiful :)))...

  • Way too fast for my taste.

  • Music is a confession, it unites crowds which oppose each other, expulses the most dire sentiments as well as conveys the most pure ones and cleanses the soul into acception, lore and reverie. Is there a higher form of art?

  • @presidential2OIO

your comment is also one of the greatests :D

  • @presidential2OIO, very beautifully written. Philosophically, yes there is a higher form of art. Silence is the purest form of art one which can be attain by very few only. As the grace and mastery of musicians bring people's sentiments into the light, the silence and the art of silence is the highest as silence requires NO foundation to reveal its grace, sentiments and soul. however, a life without music and comfort would be monotone perhaps too raw for most.

  • master fuckin piece

  • a masterpiece

  • I'm gunna go see this in June at the Metropolitan.

  • An amazing and fine piece of art.

  • Comment removed

  • I must say, what you just stated was...profound.

  • this song is the most beautiful ever!!

  • Music is a confession, it unites crowds which oppose each other, expulses the most dire sentiments as well as conveys the most pure ones and cleanses the soul into acception, lore and reverie. Is there a higher form of art?

  • BRAVO

  • É impressionante como os russos marcam seu estilo de maneira idêntica em todos os campos das artes

  • this is the best

  • my music teacher always says that you have to learn the song slowly first before you can ever play it fast and my ballet teacher says basically the same thing so maybe our minds are saying learn the steps slow first :)

  • I actually prefer this faster version.

But for those people who have to dance at this pace...ouch.

  • I deeply like this part. Thank you for your sharing.

  • Why must we have politics? Why must we have religion? We need only one thing- that is music.

  • Comment removed

  • @Emanresu56 I couldn't agree more. I wish he were alive today so i could formally tell him how beautiful his music is.

  • @Emanresu56

thats one of the greatest comments i've read on youtube :)

    i completely agree

  • @Emanresu56 We need food too.

  • @Emanresu56

That's pretentious and poorly thought out.

  • @Fabio254

    How so?

  • @Emanresu56

Because you can't make the world work on music, it'd just be a fucking mess, more so than it already is.

  • @Fabio254

Perhaps I was being too idealistic. However, I believe in the future we may have less of a need for politics and religion, and even more of a need for science and the arts. I believe a new Renaissance will come, which will be entirely unprecedented. Of course, I'm not merely saying this. It is something I am going to be working towards my entire life.
