I use a triangular pyramid to hold 4 in one hand, but how you manage more than that is beyond me. Maybe a square pyramid for 9,10 but I have no idea how to do more. I would also really be interested in the diameter and weight of the bags your using (or just the make)

Bruce, with 11 and 12 balls, the balls you have on your dominant hand that are just laid on your hand instead of being grabbed like the lower balls in your hand, don't they fall when you lower your arm for the first throw? Or do you use beanbags so it's easier to grab all of them so none of them fall?

I'm still impressed! And I'm waiting for that big WR you were going to break this year.

I use beanbags and I can line up 5 balls in a row with all 5 fully held. I then balance AND grab the 6th ball on top of those 5 so when I lower, it would not fall. Using this method also allows me to launch 7 balls out of one hand as well.

I was 23 yrs old when I went from 5 balls to 6 balls - no lie..... Age doesn't matter. Keep practicing and your potential is unlimited!

@jlspma I am 43 now. In 1990 I went from 5 balls to 6 balls (if that is what you are asking). 1990 is when I took juggling seriously. By the end of 1991, I had flashed 10 balls.

BTW, great job on doing the RUBIKS cube! I use to do that in high school when they first came out. My average speeds was around 35 sec to 40 secs basically. 25 secs is killer! Congrats!

I've got a serious question:

In order for it to count as a world record, do you have to catch all of the balls; for example, if someone was able to juggle 13 balls with 100 catches, and they messed up and didn't catch one of their balls, would it qualify?

no.. you have to catch all of them!.. some say.. its better to throw all balls one time and catch them again than juggling 20 minutes long and mess them up.

No. You just have to get the most amount of catches with that number of balls. And the number of catches must be at least the number of balls.

A qualify is the number of hands multiplied by the number of objects. It is what is commonly accepted to be "juggling" instead of just flashing that number. So if someone got 87 catches with 13 balls (so long as it was only one or two people) then it would qualify. But with two people it would not be a record.
