Do not know the name of this but it is part of the Datchet Morris annual boxing day dance, we have been going years.

I have portrayed the Doctor in this play. When the Doc is supposed to act giving the casualties the draught of life, I gave them Absinthe and Pernod. The looks on their faces was priceless. Mind you it did bring them back to life.

No. Because they also did a mummers play where St george gets stabbed in the back and then brought to lifr by the doctor

That's not the mock killing. A clown goes in the middle of the star, and when everyone pulls their swords out, he falls over.
