With that said, he told me that Redman was the coolest, most down-to-earth guy that he has ever met. It's good to hear other fans say exactly what I think. In my opinion, Dare Iz A Darkside was Redman's best work. It was the whole package: His look with having the full nappy afro, the album cover, and most importantly, the hard, dark funk tracks, while also having some songs on the album that had more of a positive groove to it, but still carried the funk sound on it. To me, Dare iz a Darkside's rap/funk fusion makes it a cd that really falls in it's own category.
