Vitas sucks at lipsyncing. So much that he has to SPEAK out the words to lag behind. We see this in the Qingdao Beer Festival. He was supposed to lipsync, but the microphone was turned on so we hear him speaking out the lyrics to Star, but he's just saving up his voice for concerts like these.

Russian singer Alexander Novikov stole some of these recordings, and edited them onto a live recording to make Vitas look bad. But Vitas sings amazing live, and I heard this myself.

It's kind of pathetic that that is your only comment you can think up. A) He is incredibly popular in Russia and China. He is a master of the stage to them and russian opera is appreciated there. His ability to sing how he does is rare, so he's cultivated it. And B) being gay or fat or small dicked has nothing to do with your ability to succeed. And he has obviously done better for himself than either of you poor bastards ever will, so hope you feel better!

The fact that Vitas got a little cubby is good because, Vitas has been through alot with the death of his mother. It put him into a depression on which he totally stopped eating even though he hid his sadness, he was quite depressed about it. He took a long time to recover from it. It is good he is gaining weight back because it shows he is taking care of himself now.

This is definitely live, while he doesn't do the microphone trick, his voice has very different tone from the album track. It's very mellow which I like. At 1:35 he doesn't do the small vibrato there. It's a very small difference though. Nonetheless, all these performances are amazing, Vitas ALWAYS does the exact same vibrato while hitting the high note at 1:44! Same with hitting the C-sharp in Dedication! :)

This is a "Robe" performance, he often sings with this mellow voice when wearing that robe. Also the prerecorded backing vocal track has the .

Another difference: at 1:21, when he sings "le-baa" the second part is faster, compare with studio version and earlier concerts in which his voice is more like "fa, le -- ba..." Also there's some slight differences in the high notes, mostly there's slightly less vibrato at some points.

It's live, but he's singing to the style of the Asian version (as in, the one used in the Music Video shot in Thailand). The Euro version wasn't as upbeat, but I liked his singing voice there better, though the falsetto isn't as perfect as it is here.

When a guy pulls a falsetto, the neck swallows and the person becomes purple. Vitas isn't making an extraordinary effort to pull it off. it comes from the low abdomen. He's projecting the voice, not faking it.

Is it just me or in some of his later years when he's not as skinny as he used to be (but IN NO MEANS, fat, that's not what I'm applying), he almost seems to appear more tender in his delivery.

For example, in several of his Opera 1 and 2 videos from 2006, he always looks like he's seducing the audience with his eyes - which is HOTT. But he also looks really serious, and kind of evil (mmm lol).

But after that, he started to look a lot more gentle and less like that (lol).
