BRILLIANT! I liked the approach they went with Starscream in Animated. A total wild card who brought nothing but chaos to both the Autobots and Decepticons. It fit all around better than the old "Megatron stubbed his toe unit! I'm the new leader!" stuff that got very old in G1. Of course nothing will ever beat G1 Starscream shouting "I'M STUPID! I'M STUPID!" just to save his own ass.
