  • I think the drummer from Of Mice and Men uses a t bell from trx.

  • @keegansnotabadass He has multiple bells on his kit, but I guarantee you that this was used on both of their albums. You can even check the studio updates for The Flood, you see him playing it, it's his main bell below the right-hand crash.

  • @Mp5Drummer oh maybe he does, i dont know i just remember seeing his profile on the trx cymbals website.

  • @keegansnotabadass Well yeah, TRX aren't exactly gonna tell people that he uses the Zildjian bell, but he does all the same. Same situation as Daniel Williams and Matt Greiner. Matt's a Zildjian endorser who uses LP and Sabian bells both live and in the studio, Daniel's a Meinl endorser who uses a Zildjian bell.

  • @Mp5Drummer Tino uses two 5" TRX Bells and two zil-bels. He had all TRX at one point but lost them on tour.

  • love my 6 inch zil. i just ordered my 9.5 in on like 5 mins ago lol. great vid by the way

  • I put the 9.5 on my ride. it turned an innocent little 20" K Custom Medium ride into a mega bell ride!

  • Awesome man, thanks! Im very very picky about my cymbals, I think im gonna get the latin percussion joint.

  • @EcuadorFreak Good, you should be picky about cymbals! You can tune a drum and change the heads, but you can't change how a cymbal sounds. Glad I could help dude.

  • oh hey I plan on using a bell for blast beats or slow ride and bell heavy polyrhythms, and in fills the same instance Matt greiner does in their new song, Divisions. That drum fill near the 45 second mark of the song. Which do you recommend?

  • @EcuadorFreak I'd say one of the "washier" bells I mention in this video. A Meinl Classics bell, a Stagg Black Metal bell or the LP Ice Bell (the small LP is what Matt uses, I say it around 7:30 here). The Zil-Bels are too distinctive to sound good in blasts IMO, especially the 9.5". The 6" is good for fills. If you want to hear the 6" being used in blasts, listen to My Fears Have Become Phobias by As Blood Runs Black.

  • Did you by any chance put that song in the background cause matt Greiner uses this bell? ;D hehe. Thanks for the review by the way!

  • @EcuadorFreak He uses a 7" and 9" Radia Cup Chime from Sabian. He used the LP 7" until Leveler

  • want one of these so bad but don't have the money :'(

  • Finally some one makes a goddam review where they don't just smash the shit out of the cymbal for 10 seconds. GuitarCenter has a 30% 4th of july sale on orders of 200 or more so do you recommend the 9.5 inch, or the 6 inch? Thanks, amazing review.

  • @xSugarDaddy420 Obviously right now I prefer the 9.5" because I just got it, but it all depends on usage. The 6" can be played at just about any point in a song, groove or fill (listen to The Fall of Troy to see what I mean). Since the 9.5" is such a big, loud and distinctive sound, when you do hit it, it needs to really count! If all you'll be using it for is for beatdowns or the end of a fill where you whack the bell with the snare, I'd say the 9.5". Everything else, the 6".
