  • To download a free copy of Shaykh riyadh ul-Haq's book; The Salah of a Believer in the Quran & Sunnah, see the below link.

    /watch?v=nYEdxVqJMSQ

  • The real way from the Sunnah was to place hands on the chest not below the belly button O.o

  • i heard that the dua after the prayer is bid'ah

  • why are people criticising this? the man who made this has done something good. you should applaud him.

  • @ussiedapker Brother/Sister don't pay too much attention to what people say. Where ever you go, there are good and bad people, that's what makes a society.

    May Allah forgive us all.

  • This goes on far to long!!

  • What does everything he says mean? I really need someone to tell me, it is for an Religous Education essay!

  • I appreciate the video, but what is the proof for placing the hands below the belly button, rather than the chest?

  • Subhanallah. I have searched all over the web and this the best I've ever seen. I'll send it to my friend who just converted to Islam

  • Mash´Allah this video is so helpful for my 8 years old aughter who is learning the Salat. The only thing is that since our language is Spanish, I wish there would be a translation in our language. We hispanic muslims are increasing in numbers Alhamdulillah but not too much material in our language. JazakhAllah Khair.

  • can anybody tell me when in jammaat how come imam never recietes aoudo bilahe minishataa nirajeem bismillahhirakhman niraheem before al fatihah?

  • @dangflo Some Imams, if you do not hear them recite it silently. Some Imams do recite this before Fatiha aloud. But they all recite it whether you hear them or not. Allah knows best.

  • Allah the most merciful do know the best

  • yea

  • JazakAllah. Muslim pray 5 times a day to communicate with Almighty Allah and at the same time it benefit our health it is a form of exercise Allah know best.

  • The 4 main Sunni Schools of Fiqh Hanfi(oldest and used in Subcontinent the most) Shafi( Used in east africa and some Arab countries and Indonesia) Hanbali(mostly in Saudi Arabia) and Maliki(Western part of Africa) are ALL correct. tthey have some minor differences according to a few laws and some tiny differences in prayer. They are all at least 95% the same, all are true muslims. as long as you have the correct belief. You can follow ANY of them. Scholars have agreed that they are all equal.

  • sorry bhai lakin yeh tariqa e namaz suunat ky mutabiq nahi hay

  • Okay so i've just started praying, and i have a couple of questions, i'd be so grateful if they were answered..

    1) when our palms are first on our heart, what do we pray before alhamdu and another surah? Where can i find this prayer in the quran?

2)when we are seated, which 2 prayers do we pray? And where can i find them to learn also?

Would anyone be kind enough to let me know the names of all three surahs atleast, and the last prayer you pray? when you cup your hands together? <3

  • @AngelaRawrsOmNom

I suggest you search for the short duas that need to be recited online - or get a small booklet that will teach you

  • By Ibn Rajab al Hanbali. The Islamic definition of Bid’ah: Imaam Ash-Shaafi’i, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said: “A Bid’ah is anything that has no basis in the Qur’aan, Sunnah or sayings of any of the companions.” Ibn Al-Jawzi, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said: “A Bid’ah is any form of worship that did not exist (at the time of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and his companions) then later it was innovated

  • @MrAhmedzaid Can i ask a question ?

I hope this doesnt sound rude but

why do people say that ?

  • @nargisbrk probably because they are spreading knowledge, teaching people to pray (which leads to good deeds, increase iman and love for Allah(swt) etc). They are commiting good deeds and helping people come to islam - and for that (inshallah) they will go to jannah. But people may have different reasons :S

  • Allhamdulillah.. salam from indonesia

  • thanks;)

how do u make these animations plz reply

  • i read that your not meant to put your knees first, your meant to put hands then knees, your not supposed to sit like a camel (camels fall on their knees first). My source is some booklet im reading about how the prophet prays, i will double check so dont take my word for authentic. peace upon all

  • yes i used to fall with knees first , then i came across the hadith were the prophet said not to sit like camels , so i changed , the book of sheikh albani called '' sifat salat al nabi '' discription of how the prophet prayed '' really great book every thing is with evidence , i have no idea if it translated to english or not..... also i've seen imams of haram falling with their knees ....

  • @airpickone abu hanifa , shafi''i and ahmad ibn taymiyah ,albani , ibn othimeen , bin baz i are the scholars who said to put knees first , Imam malik awzai'i and other said different ibn taymiayh said both is right see what u think goes better with the authentic hadiths, if you youtubed '' camel sitting '' you will see the camel sits with his fronts first then his back knees =]

Can plese help me because i want to learn how to pray asap so i can pray.

  • Beautiful voice !!!!

  • 06:10

  • which prayer is this?????

  • Instead of finger pointing and saying this is right, this is wrong..why not use this video and see the beauty of it.. Too much time is spent on nit picking. Bottom line is, when you complain, ask yourself, are you praying or not? If yes, well good, if NOT, then get up and go and pray . There are many acceptable ways to pray, and we should always ask Allah swt to accept our prayer, and forgive its shortcomings. My 2 yr old loves it, watches all the time.. One of the best salat videos out there.

  • I'm happy someone made an Islamic video dealing with salah that kids can enjoy.

I don't agree with the placement of hands and location to look in ruku. But mashaAllah. My daughter is two and I'll teach her that. Overall. I will allow her to see this video as she wishes.

    JazakAllah khairun.

  • what is fidgeting

  • This is a video teaching proper respect to another culture that I may not belong to but I respect the peace it brings

    Sincerely

    Rev. Keith Kemp

  • This seems like a lot to learn for prayer for childre and converts/reverts. How long does it usually take someone new to islam to learm or memorize?

  • @BrownSkinLady22 Bout a couple of weeks to a month

  • Aa please does anyone know who is the reciter... mashaallah he is very clear. jizaakaallah

  • the reciter is not anybody well known. he was a young local brother, around 16 at the time of recording living in the UK.

  • @therandomcat

Ma shaa Allah. He sounds vey much like Mohammed Gibril, the renowned reciter from Egypt.

  • @therandomcat Please Can you tell me about this: after the Salawat and before the closing (As Salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatulaah- 6:58): make dua is obligatory/compulsory/fard? Other videos show a small dua before "As Salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatulaah". Regards,

  • may allah reward the maker hoping to see many more good like this for young one great tool of education.

  • WOW this is a really good way to teach kids how to read namaaz!!!

  • mach allah allah ajazek bekher

  • As a muslim i am wondering why we pray in Arabic except of Turkish(ma native language) ..

    does it make sense?

  • @deejaytrancos Because my turkish brother Islam in an universal religion. I've been foreign countries and prayed with my muslim brothers. If they didn't pray in arabic how would I understand them? Besides memorizing surah's in arabic is much more easier.

  • But MashAllah -- besides the little mistakes, it's a great way for people to learn. =]

  • lots of detail :) thx so much this is good help :)

  • Mashallah... Thx Alot.. May Allah Bless the entire team that made this video a success

  • But MashAllah -- besides the little mistakes, it's a great way for people to learn. =]

  • I noticed... when the animation comes up from sujood while sitting -- they didn't say: rabbi-gh firlee or

    Allaahumma-ghfirlee, warhamnee, wajburnee, warfa'nee, wa'aafinee,

    warzuqnee....

  • @SenaitSM It Is Not Obligatory To Read That Dua In Between The Sujoods, But It Is Good If You Do :)

  • Wishing there was animation for females as well..i'm doubtful about sajdah and i've been searching but haven' found the demonstration yet.

  • @sarusana assalamu alaykum sister...as far as i know, there is no difference in how males and females preform salah...the prophet-salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam- said 'pray as you have seen me pray'....he didn't diffrenciate between male and female...and Allah knows best....in sha Allah He will forgive me if i'm wrong.

  • Yes samreen8 you are absolutely right, I have come to know the same after searching, there is no difference.

  • @sarusana The Prayer of men & women is not the same, see:

    /watch?v=nYEdxVqJMSQ&feature=related

  • AoaWe are muqallids (followers) of the Hanafī fiqh. We accept the rulings of our scholars regardless of whether we know or understand their proofs. Deriving fiqhī rulings is not as simple as looking at just one or two hadīth. Therefore, we acknowledge our lack of expertise in these fields and accept the rulings of those who have mastered these sciencesThe prayer of men and woman remains different, just as they are different in many other regards.

  • Sorry but isn't that blind following? I mean what if the fiqh is wrong or maybe not suitable at that point? Would you not follow Shafi fiqh or Hunbali or Malaki? Would they be not correct or wrong or maybe not suitated in the ruling? Can you please clarify that cause we are supposed to follow the quran and sunnah first and then the sahabas and tabayn and tab tabayn. Excuse me from my ignornace.

  • @samreen8 The Prayer of men & women is not the same, see:

    /watch?v=nYEdxVqJMSQ&feature=related

  • @sarusana Essalamu aleykum. According to all four scholars there ARE some minor differences. Search in google "central mosque fiqh prayer" and then first link. This site considers all of the hadiths and not just one hadith (which even is misinterpreted by samreen8) when there are hundreds about Salah (the prayer). May Allah guide us all!

  • I really loved to see the women prayer too in Hanafi Madhab.

Other this vid was helpfull Jazak Allahu Khairan.

  • masha Allah v.educative

  • this really helps thnk u

  • i have a question: the long surah on the end how should i lern it???? its soooooo long...

    please help me...

  • Which Surah do you mean?

  • the long on the end while sitting...

  • jazakaAllah

    helps alot

  • Could I just ask, Do women pray this way aswell? Or do they have a different way of praying e.g putting the hands below the belly button? Also when saying 'Allah hu akbar' do they put their hands near their shoulders? This is what we were taught from my molvi.......jazakAllah khair

  • No, women don't pray like this. They don't put the hands below the belly botton.

When saying Allahu Akbar, women must put their hands near their shoulders.

  • this is the most beautiful thank you who ever did this this actually made a diffrence

  • If this is only from Hanafir fiqh then you should add hanafi fiqh on the info box as some mostly new Muslims and others may think this is the only way to pray.

  • THIS IS THE MOST beautiful animation of Salah.

  • huhhhhh what are u talking about. im trying to say that when something is sunna u can do both ways. u can choose ur self what way u do but its beter if u raise hands sometimes and sometimes not raising hands. just preform all the sunna u can do. ameen wa iyaak

  • yes but there is also a hadith in bukhary where he raised hands everytime he come up from bowing, so the scholars say that this is a sunna. becuz sometimes he did and sometimes he didnt. u understand?

  • whats your point? shekh albani took the evedence of these imaams. why u talking like that about shekh albani?

  • Salam Alikum,

During the reading of the shahada the animation raise his finger only one time. I was always been told that this is the correct way to do it. A friend of mine told me this is not the correct way to do it. there is no evidence that the profit PBAH did that. Can you please provide me with the source you used so I can show my friend that this is also another correct way to do it.

    May Allah Reward you.

  • walaykum asalam.

the animation is made according to the hanafi fiqh. if you you look there you will find the daleel regarding raising the finger insha'Allah.

  • Dr Btr, vry most imprtnt in prayer is intention.Salat establishes a connection wit Allah SWT. 1s conection is estblishd ur intention shud b 2 pls n keep conection retained till end. Just feel He SWT is in front of u &/or watching/listening 2 u. Try n get gud knowldge n then decide wat u ned 2 fllow by heart.Allah SWT does not like divide in sects. if 1s u strive 2 get right path n folow as per ur undrstndng n pray with only 2 imprs Him, irespectve of way ud pray He SWT will accept your prayer.

  • excample: imaam hanafi was on the opinion that we dont raise our hands when we go into roekoe, but there is a hadith in bukhary that says that the prophet used to raise hands when he went into rukoe, but what is the reason imaam hanafi said no? this was becuz he never SAW the hadith in his life time.<< this is just a excample why diferents of opinons exsist in fiqh. we need to choose who is the closed to the truth. sis do u understand arabic? maybe i can send u a video of shekh utymeen.

  • the prophet had 1 way of praying when its about the fard actions like shujoed and rukoe etc but some actions were sunns like placing the hands he difered in this sometimes. but this does not mean that all schools of thoughts are corect in all they say about salaah, the diference of opinons come becuz some scholars used weak hadiths for excample and some never saw some hadiths in there life. for excample:

  • no sis we cannot choose for ourselfs how to pray the salaah becuz the prophet said: pray as u saw me praying. so u can not say: I think the best is what distract u the less. this is not corect. the scholars always diferd on fiqh but did they ever divided?? no becuz we should respect our diferent of opinions and not let it devid the umma. if u speak arabic i can give u a video of shekh utymeen explaining this. inshallah.

  • Bro; the prophet said pray as you have seen me pray; the prophet prayed in many ways at different times. So if one is to pray in any of those ways; then ofcourse he is following the sunnah; or is that wrong? It is just the matter of which imam you think is the most authenic.

  • akhy this is what i meant. but there are some ways the prophet only did it in 1 way, for excample: placing the knees after the hands. << there is a diference of opinon about this but this does not mean u can follow both becz only 1 is right. albani said:placing the knees first is not corect becuz all the hadiths about it are weak.ibn alqayim was on the opinion that knees should be first. but it doesnt mean albani and ibn al qayim are right only 1 of them. so there is only 1 way in placing knees.

  • the raising up the finger and put it down when u say the shahada in tashahoed is not from the sunna shekh albani said this in his book that this is bid3a and there is nothing in the sunna that claim this. allahu a3lam.

  • MashaAllah, a great video, JazakAllah khair for sharing. InshaAllah we will use this with our students at our maddrasa.

  • Alhumduilah, this a great video. thanks

  • this is the imam maliki version i think

  • Imam Hanafi rahimullah

  • Great!!

  • wtf?..lol, this was saved under my favorites..anyways...why do people hate muslims?...i have nothing against them! the muslims that blow shit up are the muslim extremist and they have problems, normal muslims on the other hand are normal people just like other humans that roam the earth! it is people like osama bin laden that have made the muslim world a hard place for people to live in. my mom's bf is muslim and from turkey and he always gets checked for bombs...i think it is so racist. nicevid

  • he forget the dua rabbena in the end :D

  • As you know rabbena is dua.

It better to recite but it's also OK if you don't.

  • soy un pato

  • alhamdulilah... hehe ... that's pretty good

  • this is great!

  • great!!! go on

  • mashaAllah....wonderful video!

  • Fanks. Nao I can Prae.

  • thx now i can pray :)

  • very good

  • id love to show this to the kids at our islamic school!!

  • wow mashallah!

  • thank you so much for this video. Wow, this is done really professional and it's so educational. Jazakallah khair whoever you are. This is great. Keep up this excellent work!! Well done...i will make great use out of this inshallah.

  • soudjoudj hand first and then nee

  • @agathasharon Knees first, then hands, see; /watch?v=nYEdxVqJMSQ&feature=related

  • asalaamu alaykum

may allah reward you for your work to benefit the muslim. i am now planning of using this video as a educational tool.

i have a question about the video and was wondering if you can edit the video before i use it on my next lecture. i learned my salaat from the book sifatu salaatu nabi, in it i learned your arm must rest on the chest area but the belly, and when making a sujood you hands first and knee follow, can you please look the kitaab and get back to me.

    jazaaka allah

  • i would personally agree with you on these two points in salah, however this was made for a company following the hanafi madhab and i was instructed by a mufti on how to animate each step. i cannot change anything in this particular animation. soory. but make dua for this type of work to move forward. i am trying to find the time to make another one more accurate according to the sunnah. feel free to use for education and explain where the opinions differ. JazakAllah Khairun.

  • Alhamdulilah. Jezak Allahu-l-hajr, we barek Allahu fiik.

  • its gd 4 the children

  • hey thats wut i learned, but many people in the masjid dont place their feet right, like they have a gap of more than 4 fingers on their feet..

  • there is no sahih hadis about 4 finger grap.this is innovetion .

  • According to the Salafi brothers everything seems to be an innovation. The thing is that people these days go to extremes, whether one is a Sunni extremist or SAlafi extremist... DOn't Commit excesses in your religion

  • i think ur right..

  • Narrated Salim bin 'Abdullah: My father said, "Allah's Apostle used to raise both his hands up to the level of his shoulders (when opening the prayer; and on saying the Takbir for bowing. And on raising his head from bowing he used to do the same and then say "Sami a-l-lahu Liman hamida, Rabbana walaka-l-hamd." And he did not do that (i.e. raising his hands) in prostrations.sahih buhari book 12hadis 702)

  • Do you even know that the prophet prayed in different ways at different times? It is the matter of chosing which way one wants to follow, all are correct, we can follow a way through the schools of thought.

  • do u hav any proof? he said that there will be 73 sects and all will go to hell except 1. The one with him will not go to hell. the 4 imam hav not created the sect but we as a ummah have created it. To my knowledge, abu hanifa shud be followed because his kknowledge was the oldest out of those 4

  • I know what the Prophet stated. All the four schools of thought are correct according to many people. But hey now this is where you halt. Do you have any proof that you should follow the Imam Abu hanifa May Allah be pleased with him? Don't go to extremes. Imam Abu hanifa May ALlah be pleased with him was a Jurists or Fuqaha,The Prophet peace be upon him should be followed, but if you say through the Fiqh of Imam abu hanifa, then.. Ok. Why are you preassuming that i will disagree with you

  • we all follow propher s.a.w.s the way abu hanafi told us. am lost one that to some muslim do this do that we al pray to one god is just the way we do SUNNAh is not the same

  • cool

  • i believe mazhabs are something else then a 'sect'

all 4 sunni mazhabs are correct

  • ur right brother

  • this is not corect becuz the prophet had 1 way of praying except the sunnas. for excample the shoejoed was always the same the rukoe also was only 1 way. but some actions are sunna like placing the hands for excample he did in diferent ways. so we should stick on the sunna and on the fard. we should not go further then this and inovate things he never did.
