Что ж, напишу ещё раз: эта песня к «situation in Estonia» не имеет не малейшего отношения, и написаны была очень даже про «situation in Russia».
Более того, группа, поющая эту песню (Телевизор) — не раз высказывала свою позицию по отношению к действующей власти (см.песню «Заколотите подвал», например), и к таким вещам как эта антиэстонская истерия в том числе.

А на недавнем концерте в Киеве в этой самой песне вместо «фашист» звучало слово «нашист» — намёк на пропутинскую молодёжную группировку.
Я думаю, эта песня в гораздо большей степени направлена против тех из комментаторов, кто орёт вещи типа «смерть эстонцам» и «пора бы приструнить этих прибалтов, совсем мол Россию и батюшку Путина не любят!».

Я в творчестве "Телевизора" неплохо ориентируюсь, поскольку слушаю эту группу с 91-го года:) Реакция и высказывания в духе "смерть эстонцам" вполне ожидаемы, но, заметь, в ролике нет ни одного призыва к этому и даже намека на рядовых эстонцев. В ролике фигурируют четыре персонажа, от которых уже и эстонцы взвыли.

А под "ситуэйшн ин эстония" подразумевается видеоряд, поскольку ролик делался "для своих" и, по большому счету, мнение лиц не из Эстонии касательно этого ролика лично мне неинтересны.

First book in Estonian is from 1535.

If it came to discussion of ancestors-modern Estonians are mix of Danish,Germans,Swedes and Russians.I've seen a lot of pretty Estonian girls that looked exactly like Russians and I'd never suspected they were Estonian unless I've heard they were speaking Estonian.

You are quite close, but the things are even more comlicated. According to the skeletons the ancient Estonians were genetically average Europeans even before German occypation in 13th century. Estonians have culture and language of Fenno-Ugri, but have never had significant genetic similarities.
"Genetically authentic" Estonians are modern Finnish. So the difference between Estonians and Finnish is the genetic impact of other nations to us. I do not know the %.

There are two major citizen policies, right by blood and right by soil. Estonian constitution says that we use first method. It is based on the constitution of first republic and was passed by public vote. You do understand what you are asking? But as I see people from all over the world, both young and old, learning estonian at basic level in one year I really don't believe it is impossible for older russian people to learn it in 15 years.
