POS phone running a POS operating system. I upgraded to this phone from my iPhone 3G and got sick of how finicky the touch screen really is. The touch screen will at times be either too sensitive to the touch or not responding at all. I traded this phone for a BB Bold 9700 and was a good decision.
I now upgraded to a iPhone 4 from the BB and I can't be more relieved to be back using an iPhone. Touch screen is perfect, responds well, and looks incredible. DO NOT GET THIS POS PHONE.
i have this phone and it's amazing! the apps are great. i love to download videos and with x10 i just cant stop doing it.. it can view and download vids up to 1280x720 in mp4.. the camera is better than iphone 4.. believe me i've compared it.. browsing is smooth

Man,if you look at the characteristics you will see that the omnia hd`s processor is 800 mhz (which if fast),but the xperia`s processor is 1 ghz = 1000 mhz (more faster)
the browser is more faster and the OS is Android (xperia x10) which makes the cpu more faster too.The only thing which xperia doesn`t yet has is it`s radio,DivX and multitouch... Things which aren`t that important as the others,but thats your choice ;] For me the xperia x10 is better and soon i`ll have it ;] Sry 4 my bad English

@xxkatie2008 it's a rather big phone, 4 inch screen. but the screen is almost the entire phone. not much bigger than a iPhone. and downloading may differ between providers. but it has something that's called a 3.5G connection. I don't exactly know what that means. but 3G is more than sufficient for a speedy download. and with the new 2.1 software it's a pleasure to work with. ( I sound like a bloody salesman.) you can always ask me for further information Katie.

people check this ---> sony ericsson dot com --> on the bodem of the page (under "Your Phone" you click product software --> select se x10--> under "instaling the application" click on download here --> then you see an update with versoin 2.10.9.13
i think that this could be the 2.1 android update, can someone confirm this please!!

at 00:24, he says it has GPS... but as far as I know, it has AGPS (assisted GPS), which means you have to pay in order tu use it.

Man,if you look at the characteristics you will see that the omnia hd`s processor is 800 mhz (which if fast),but the xperia`s processor is 1 ghz = 1000 mhz (more faster)
the browser is more faster and the OS is Android (xperia x10) which makes the cpu more faster too.The only thing which xperia doesn`t yet has is it`s radio,DivX and multitouch... Things which aren`t that important as the others,but thats your choice ;] For me the xperia x10 is better and soon i`ll have it ;] Sry 4 my bad English

@lplucas1990 , hiyarr, i was just wondering, as ive only seen the phone on a pciture, is it a big phone?, like a big screen,and does it have any problems at all such as slow downloading,not being able to gett onto apps, etc, if you could reply that would be helpful,

@xxkatie2008 it's a rather big phone, 4 inch screen. but the screen is almost the entire phone. not much bigger than a iPhone. and downloading may differ between providers. but it has something that's called a 3.5G connection. I don't exactly know what that means. but 3G is more than sufficient for a speedy download. and with the new 2.1 software it's a pleasure to work with. ( I sound like a bloody salesman.) you can always ask me for further information Katie.

@kind4love open youtube app, press menu button (left one of the 3 buttons you have) and press settings and then set high quality on. hope it helps. ask me again for any further question

@flipicaneze: You are soo right. Like you have to, you HAVE to get itunes to make sure your ipd touch or iphone work with ur computer and sync with it and recharge off it. It is soo bullshit and it has a F**** AWESOME CAMERA. Also android is da best after appl because apple advertises too much and sony dont but they got similar amount of sales. THAT IS HOW PRO SONY IS!!!!!!! :)

Yah, but sadly in business it doesn't matter how good our product are but how pro your sales rep is. Ex. apple products such as their apple tv laptop and etc really do suck. Its just that they make good hand held devices though but the ipad is too bulky and is basically a larger ipod touch. Like seriously who would carry something that big juss to listen to music! lol in conclusion apple has a GREAT sales rep that is why they do so good in business.

I have become somewhat disillusioned with Sony Ericsson of late. I was waiting anxiously for the X2 to come out in the UK, and watched with dismay as it kept being pushed back and back and back until finally, it was dropped. How do we know the same won't happen again with the X10?
