It amazes me how so many Americans hate police yet never appreciate being able to leave their doors unlocked, walk down the street without being robbed, shot or raped, not having their children hit by speeding drunk drivers, etc. Obviously there are some stupid cops out there, but walk just one day in their shoes before you think you have the right to hate them.
@MsIMListening2U It is illogical to give credit to the police for all of these things. The police have a specific role in law enforcement. They are not monitoring everyone's actions 24:7:365.
What corrupt cops that is the few or the halve. What they are doing is undermining the loyalty of the citizens of the Federation, and put into question what is beind done to stop corruption and how far will the government of Russia allow such acts to continue in time it will ware on the common man in Russia, and in order to have order, they must enforce there current laws even against people of power and privilage and authority at least that is my perfect world.
The problem is people dont stick together anymore. Its divide and conquer tacticks by the gov, a simple seat belt ticket cost 2000 dollars it that aint cruel and unusal punishment what is.

Russian Police generally seen as weak ....oh sure they can kick your *ss ....but people with money generally just flash some cash and get away with stuff. The little guy gets pushed around ,plenty of road blocks and handouts.
Strong authority are the intelligence agencies and special police forces
It is widely perceived that Russian society needs strong authority figures. I don't know enough about Russians, so I can't say if it's true or not. But maybe this is why there is such a big problem now?
in one case, 2 plain clothes cops beat a man so savagely that he needed facial reconstruction surgery and then filed a report that HE had attacked them. the only thing that saved the man at trial was that their was a news crew taping the entire thing. it was a beautiful thing to see the look on these cops faces when they realized a tape existed. and not just any tape, no, no this was professional equipment operated by a professional cameraman. the clarity was perfect. there is a God!
hey its the same thing here in amerika. worse even. officers here beat up teenage girls, old women, old men, young boys....they use tazers on greta-grandmothers. the only difference in america is that the police officers who brutalize people are almost never held accountable. they get paid suspension for a couple weeks until everyone forgets the incident. the police chiefs wil stand at a podium with a straight face and tell you that their officer did nothing wrong when he tazered a great-grandma
How can a police officer can go on a shooting rage to innocent citizens that did not do anything? This sounds a lot worse than the Sean Bell case right here in New York City. If the police ever did something like this within the same area of the Bell case, it would create riots.
