god i rember having this game but for me very first pc i got and the uthere games that came after this like ef200 and euro fighter etc its a shame now you dont get eny flight sim type of games like this now
Thanks for posting, didn't know it was an Amiga version of this game. This shows just how short of power the A1200 was. Remember playing this game on an 486 66MHz PC in 1994 and it was very good for the time.
This was never released at all - only made CU Amiga and required 030 processor at minimum to get it running at a reasonable rate.. works very nicely on my 4000T/060.. pity it was never finished - enjoyed the PC version linked. Still good fun to play the unfinished version..
Hmmm, I'm sure it got released. i remember Amiga Format/Amiga Power giving it 2 separate review ratings and moaning about it, because you'd have no chance running this on a standard A1200
It did get previewed in 94-95 by various magazines, but it wasnt a final build of the game. The game was shelved before completion and it wasnt until 97 when CU Amiga got publishing rights to the final (yet incomplete) version of the game that it was released.
Also I wouldnt have been suprised if some previews/reviews were based on the pc version in anticipation for an Amiga release.
@averagegilo I remember reading a magazine about it in early 1994 and was amazed it was available the A1200 that I had at the time. I was really excited, but could never find it in the shops, probably for the reason you've said.
@averagegilo it did get released and it was a full game with a manual almost an inch thick, many years after owning this sim on amiga i tried it on pc and it was a tripe on the pc
Would have been interesting to see how the CD32 version turned out as it would have been a lot less likely to be an upgraded config. Would have used the PC CD Audio tracks too for in flight music.
Nice video. I have it on PC. Nice campaign mode for it! :)

Oh, different sounds? "Missile away" was "missile launched" in DOS version. Besides, the voice was not as thin as this one :)

Just couldn't get into this game as much as I wanted to. Knights Of The Sky was my fave flying/combat game for the Amiga! =)
